Our stay here was fantastic - from a fabulous breakfast, beautifully equipped room to the knowledge and advice from the owners... The Burren area of Ireland is simply fantastic and Conor can tell you what to skip and what to spend time exploring to get the true essence of Ireland. We took his word for it and skipped the tourist...

My partner and i started our 6 day tour of County Clare at the wonderful Cappabhaile House. Our hosts Conor and Margaret were simply brilliant, a superb introduction to the fantastic hospitality we would encounter thoughout our trip. The rooms here are clean, well decorated and huge, with a wonderful large bathroom including nice toiletries and views looking out onto...

Cappabhaile guesthouse is situated 10min walk from BallyVaughan centre. Owners, Margaret and Coner made us feel at home straight away. The bedrooms are huge as are the en suite bathrooms. They are tastefully decorated and ooze Irish Charm. The breakfasts, served in the charmingly decorated spacious dining room are to die for! Conor entertained us one night with some Irish...

Very large and luxurious rooms and furnishings. Breakfast was great. Hosts Conor and Margaret were absolutely one of the best experiences I carry away from my 2 weeks in western Ireland. The Burren is a fascinating area. I would have liked to have stayed for at least 3 days -- need that to do justice to the sights in this...

This was, without a doubt, the best accomodation we have ever stayed in. We had a lovely room, the breakfasts were absolutely outstanding, and the hospitality beyond par. Conor and his wife were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We went to the Burren with three very specific interests: the neolithic archaeology, the traditional music, and the walking. On all three, Conor...

Conor & Margaret run a great facility - rooms are spacious and modern, breakfast was great. Their enthusiasm and friendliness can't help but bring a smile to your face. When we mentioned we were going hiking, Conor looked at what we were planning and showed us places to go that were not on the maps. We took his advise and...

There have been so many positive comments before that there isn't much left to say or add. We can only confirm that it is fantastic, even better than you can imagine from reading the ratings! My husband and I have been to many places worldwide and often found a pleasant accommodation. Cappabhaile beat them all. Cozy and spacious rooms, beautiful...

Years ago I booked some of my students at Cappabhaile for a few nights; I couldn't stay there myself because I was booked somewhere else in town. My students RAVED about the place, particularly the delicious breakfasts. I was jealous! So when I returned to Ballyvaughan this year I (of course) planned to stay here. Conor Fahy, the congenial proprietor,...

My wife and I recently spent three nights here. Margaret and Conor, the hosts/proprietors, were wonderful. The room was spacious, with a great view, and the breakfasts were excellent. But the best part was the great information they provided to us that really made our visit worthwhile. Conor took the time to find out what we were interested in and...

Wonderful location, friendliest hosts, cleanest and lovliest rooms, including the breakfast room and sitting room! It was the first day of their opening this year and when we arrived, Margaret, although very busy, got us to our room and gave us all kinds of information for the area (with books to borrow), including the burren and cliffs of Mohr, Doolin..........Conor...
