Found the Hotel easy enough. Good that they put the GPS coordinates on their website. Just put them into my phone and follow. What I did find difficult was trying to find the entrance! From the entrance off the roundabout, the reception is "around the back". Not very obvious. Reception was polite and fast. Room was a standard room, with...

Booked in for a Saturday night. We had a family room and it was large enough. Room was clean and well presented. We had requested a travel cot which wasn't there but once we called it was brought up immediately no problem. We ate in the bar and food was yum. It wasn't cheap but not expensive either (€13ish for...

We stayed in a comfortable, spacious family room (2 adults, 2 children) for one night. We received one of the warmest welcomes of any hotel we have previously stayed in. Good food in the bar area. Very child-friendly.

We found the room to be exceptionally clean, comfortable beds, and sitting area. The hotel reception staff were very helpful. Most of all we enjoyed the fitness area with its beautiful indoor pool. We spent two nights here and did have dinner the first evening in the dining room. It was "okay" - nothing exceptional - and the service was...

Stayed here for one night when visiting s friend in Oranmore. I think if I was going to be primarily in Galway city I'd be disappointed to be this far out, but for us it was fine. Comfortable, clean and nicely decorated room, nice bathroom with a decent shower. We had a double bed, single bed and a cot in...

My friend and I visited the cliffs of moher and decided to spend the night in Galway. Although the hotel isn't walking distance for the town center, it's only a few minutes away by taxi. Very friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Seemed to have everything we needed for that price.

We made our booking the day before our stay and were very happy to end up at the Maldron. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made every effort to help us out with any detail.... ie. booking for aran island ferry, finding the power adaptor for our american appliances, very VERY fast food delivery, and excellent food recommendations in galway....

The room was large and bed comfortable, we had a double and a single bed in our room. The pillows were a little flat but with the extra bed used these pillows too. Very clean room with bath/shower in bathroom. No fridge in room but coffee/tea available and a kettle. Iron and board in room, hairdryer (look in drawer of...

The hotel is about 20 minutes out of Galway (depending on traffic). It is very much a tourist hotel. We had 2 rooms. They were pretty standard if anything slightly better than you would expect for a 3 star hotel. Unfortunately one room was damp and had a dank smell. The hotel's solution was to put out deodorisers rather than...
