Norah was very nice and welcoming. My partner is pregnant and we were looking for a quick place to stop on our way from Letterkenny to Slieve League. We pulled through Ardara and in front of Brae House. It was quick and perfect. We had an amazing breakfast, Norah was very kind. I'd recommend it to others! It was a...

This was my second time staying with Nora at Brae House. She is so kind and helpful about anything we needed, whether it was a recommendation, or helping with a cell phone. And the breakfast is the best! I know she injured her ankle earlier this past spring, but it didn't stop her from taking good care of us. The...

I went to Nancy's down the street for a pint and popped in to get a room on the advice of the locals since Brae is just down the street. I was happy with the accommodation and breakfast and impressed by the hospitality and value (45 for a double bed with en suite bathroom).

I've had the pleasure of spending a few days in beautiful Ardara planning the wedding of close friends. The town and it's people are a credit and there is an incredible sense of community and warm hospitality. However during my visit I was staying in Brae House and I wouldn't even credit it with the term B&B. The place is...

After booking one night based on the excellent reviews my Wife and I came away very disappointed. Maybe we caught Nora on a bad day, because when we arrived she was on crutches because of an operation on her foot. She told us that we could stay in a room but she could not provide breakfast, and gave us the...

Best poached eggs ever. But the hospitality was the best. Nora was our tour guide to Ardara and our night out on the town. Nancy's restaurant and Kennedy's Knitwear also excellent, nice memories. Highly recommend it. 🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳🍳

It has taken me far too long to write this review: A friend and I visited Ireland last April. We searched out Nancy's Pub and we're given Nora's contact information when we asked for nearby B&B's. Nora quickly prepared a room for us and helped us settle in. That evening Nora invited us out for a walk that evening as...

We enjoyed our stay at the Brae House a lot! The room was in excellent condition, clean, tidy and cosy. Nora is a very friendly host and fulfilled every wish in an uncomplicated way: Additional electric heaters, breakfast wishes, bus timetables... also her recommendation of the bike rental in Ardara was very helpful! The Brae House is right in the...

Those who insist on staying in hotels rather than in a private house for their holiday stays ought to think again in my opinion .Nora's abode would win you over along with her bright and cheerful manner .By nature she wants to please and please she does ! Nothing is too much trouble for her . Her place was spick-and...

The B&B was very handy to the Pubs and shops, The rooms were o/k , Bedroom was a bit cold and duvet was very thin, The shower had not much power and there was only two TV channels. For Breakfast you could choose from lots of different cereals and the full Irish wasn't very Full, First time we got a...

“We were above the kitchen which meant only neighbors on one side at night, which might have cut down on noise? But we rose early enough so breakfast preparations didn't wake us.”

“On the ground floor, I slept fine even though it was by the window and on the street. The front room has its own door entrance which was nice and convenient, especially if you want to avoid stairs or be able to quietly enter and exit.”
