My daughter and I stayed for one night on 15th March. Nice quiet clean room at the rear with view of Cahir Castle. Staff very friendly & helpful. We had lovely evening meal in the restaurant. Good breakfast choice too. Would definitely stay here again.

Liked the idea so old – kind of cool to be in a place dating back to the 1700’s. Although main floor lobby + sitting area very nice, furniture in rooms mediocre and warn – like something you’d find in your parents basement spare room. Bathroom: buzzing in the light, but nice large tub. Wifi - iffy in rm 112,...

My wife and I stayed here on the 13th and 14th of March 2015. When we arrived the receptionist couldn't find our booking even though we had a email confirming our booking. We were given a room on the first floor which was clean and more than adequate. We went and had a meal in the bar which was lovely....

Short midweek overnight stay. Lovely welcome at reception from Karen. She couldn't help me enough. Real, genuine friendliness. Room was very basic and dated, but clean and warm. So in all honesty that's all that matters on a short stay. Bar food was nice and the bar staff were very nice and friendly. So overall a great little place for...

we only spent one night as a stop over on our return trip to Dublin. It was a good choice. The hotel is very well situated in middle of town and looks to the famous old castle. In fact it must be the best building in town . The room was very cosy, with good space and good bathroom. We...
