People were friendly and it was very quick at check in. Sweet and cute hotel dog to greet you and bar area is nice. The hotel has been added on to over and over again in an odd ad-hoc manner. I get that some parts of the hotel are historical and old, but you can still upgrade the carpet, beds,...

Stayed one night on business. Rooms very spacious and well appointed. Bathrooms need updating. Very comfortable night sleep. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Was made to order but have had better. Can't comment on other food as didn't dine at hotel. Overall nice hotel

We had such a lovely time everything and everyone was fabulous. John and Elizabeth are hands on hosts and our sincere thanks for the upgrade to suite 201 it was absolutely gorgeous just wish we had had more time to use it! It really added to our engagement weekend (what a surprise engagement that was 😂). The Minella for me...

As my daughters family were visiting her father in law for Christmas (due to the unfortunate passing of her mother in law) we decided on a short trip to Ireland for our first meeting with our latest grandson. We left the booking in the hands of our son in law so had no idea of where we were staying. As...

Beautiful & charming hotel set on beautiful grounds. Plenty parking & friendly welcome. Was shown to our room by receptionist & bags were offered to be carried. Got big clean interconnecting room which was ideal. Pool was lovely! Clean warm & spacious. No complaints. Our meal in restaurant was nice but for what we got I feel it was way...

We had our Christmas party here over the weekend. Did not get any sparkling wine or mulled wine on arrival as promised. Starter and Main were lovely - vol au vent followed by salmon. Dessert total let down..far too many things incorporated. No wine with meal despite hefty price tag for the meal. Band and DJ were very good.

I used to visit this hotel early in the 60's as a child and had happy memories of it, so when I was looking for a hotel between Cork and Dublin to celebrate my husband and my 40th wedding anniversary, I immediately thought of The Minella. We arrived on Friday evening and were shown to a lovely suite overlooking the...
