My friend and I stayed at Farrenwick for 3 nights in mid-May. We loved the countryside location and absolutely loved both Kay and Denis. They were perfect hosts, and great travel agents for the area and for Ireland. Denis sets up the laptop for guests to surf the internet and helped us with travel suggestions and places to eat. Breakfast...

Dennis and Kay welcomed us into their home and made our trip so enjoyable. It was a delight to spend time chatting with them about their family and their country as we shared also about Australia. The food was very good, bed was comfortable and location just right. Dennis local knowledge was so helpful. Perhaps, if there was a downside...

Farrenwick House B&B was last B&B on our itinerary and it seems that we saved the best for last! Upon our arrival, Kay and Denis welcomed us with a pot of tea, scones and homemade preserves....much appreciated after the stress of driving on the narrow Irish roads! The rooms were comfortable with modern showers and facilities, and the beds with...

We have just spent four wonderfull nights at Farrenwick. Ideally located for anyone wanting to tour Tipperary and Waterford counties. Kay and Denis could not have been more helpful. The room was spacious; the breakfasts magnificent. Waking to the sounds of cows gently mooing was another highlight. Denis provided options for each daily trip including practical advice on road conditions...

This was my second stay at this wonderful B+B and it was just amazing! Denis and Kay are so welcoming and nothing is any trouble for them. They work quietly and quickly to make sure everything is to perfection. The reception - with tea and scones just great. This continued each night we returned from our days' travels. Help, advice...

I did like this B&B - it radiates charm, even in its (very minor) faults. Expect lots of floral decor, family photos everywhere, a large picture of the Pope in the landing, carpet in the bathroom and those round-the-loo mats. All absolutely spotless, but it felt a little bit like you were in your grandparents' house - anyone who is...

I had some difficulty finding this place due to the difference in the spelling on roadsigns to what was in the instructions (something that happens frequently in Ireland - they are not good with signage). Tea and scones on arrival were just the start of a lovely stay there with some fantastic hosts. I did find the decor in the...

Farrenwick came highly recommended by my cousin who I was visiting in Poulmucka. After staying two days with the Fahey's, I would agree that the recommendation was right on. My teenage son and I were in Ireland on our first visit from the States. I've travelled in Europe, but this was my first experience with Irish B&B hospitality; and it...

What else can I say? This was the absolutely the best stay of our entire week in Ireland. Kay & Denis were so wonderful. They took the time to talk to us about a few things not to miss while touring. The room was great - the only one that had washcloths! Great shower. Beds were wonderful. The country setting...
