Booked this pub as a halfway stop between Cork and Dundrod. Cracking place that served a good pint of Guinness. Very friendly and accommodating. Can't comment on the food as they were not serving on this occasion but the breakfast was good. Highly recommend and would stop again.
My husband and I stayed here for one night. Teresa welcomed us even though we were quite early and she gave us very helpful directions to get into Athlone by public transport. The room was pleasant and the en-suite small but adequate, it had a shower, no bath. Teresa gave us an excellent breakfast, my husband thoroughly enjoyed his, large, cooked breakfast. I just had toast and yogurt, which was all I wanted. We ate in the Cornloft Restaurant which is all part of the small b&b, bar restaurant complex. The food was very good and the waitresses extremely helpful.
Went here for a late lunch one evening, arrived to a quiet enough pub that looks stunning outside, covered in Ivy. The servers were very friendly and attentive, and the food was very tasty and the portions were big.
I found the Mill an excellent place to stay: spotlessly clean and well organised, quiet floor room, a beautiful breakfast, (I had an Irish breakfast that was fit for royalty) and a kind and professional host, Theresa, who made me feel very welcome and safe. In the same building there is a pub and a beautiful restaurant "the cornloft" which is handy if you don't want to leave the premises once you are in!!! The food is delicious and affordable and bar food is also available. I can only highly recommend this place.
