We stayed for one night (the night before Paddy's Day), and we loved it! Everyone in Dublin balked at us for going to Athlone until we told them we planned to stay here, and their tones changed dramatically. Quite the local impression! Check in was easy and they have dedicated parking. The staff was courteous throughout the stay. We pre-paid...

Stayed here last night for my sister's hen party. We didn't have to leave the hotel as everything was organised for us. From activity to meal, decorations in rooms, reserved area in bar and nightclub. Excellent staff, food, drink and craic!! Thanks to you all, in particular Aisling K, for a wonderful night. We've just had my sisters hen here and everyone is still raving about it. The hotel was a surprise if I'm honest. I thought it was going to be nice, but it far exceeded my expectations. Considering they welcome large groups, Hens & Stags with open arms, you would be forgiven if you thought that the hotel might not be...

Discovered this old style hotel on a visit to Athlone. From the moment I stepped through the front door I experienced an atmosphere of friendliness and professionalism. The receptionist,Aisling, was an example of how people in this area can set a positive tone for guests. The buffet in the bar area was outstanding and would put thoughts of dieting out...
