Recommended to us by our Dublin B&B owner, and we were delighted. Warm welcome, lovely room, clean, comfortable and beautifully finished, generous advice on locality, eating out and travelling on. Then there was breakfast. An event to be savoured. Delicious fresh fruits followed by perfectly cooked Irish breakfast. Mary sets a very high standard here, and a few days later...

Spent two nights here last week. Mary and Mike are fantastic hosts, who have obviously put a lot of thought into making their guests feel comfortable and welcome. The house and gardens are beautiful and the location is perfect, in town and a short drive from The Cliffs of Moher.

Comments made by other reviewers are spot on. We spent two nights in early October. This is as good of a B&B as you will find anywhere. Fabulous breakfast, large comfortable rooms and a gracious & knowledgeable hostess. No reason to stay anywhere else if visiting this corner of Ireland.

We recently enjoyed two nights at Ballinsheen House. The home is spotless and in addition to it's own lovely gardens and views, it's in a great location if travelling to Cliffs of Moher etc. There are also a couple of goods pubs with traditional music, all within a 5-10 min. walk. Our room was very comfortable, with some thoughtful touches...

Beautiful house and gardens, warm and friendly. Mary and her family make you feel right at home! The best breakfast in Ireland! Mary's homemade muffins are to die for, delicious! Great location, can walk to town. Easy to get to the Burren, Cliffs of Moher, and other historical sites and walks. I can't wait to return!

We stayed here a few nights while we visited Inisheer and the Burren and hated to leave. Mary was very helpful, a great cook and good advisor. Breakfast was grand, rooms were large, modern and very clean. Perfect stay and highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed here for one night while touring through Ireland, but I would have loved to stay longer. This is a beautiful home and Mary is so inviting. Our room was nicely furnished and the bathroom was a good size. Mary keeps lots of little extras in each room: TV, hair dryer, plug adapters, cookies and tea...
