My husband and I stayed at Ballinsheen House for one night recently and very much wished we could have stayed longer. Mary is a wonderful hostess who runs an immaculate and very comfortable accommodation. The house has been beautifully decorated and every comfort has been provided. The breakfast was lovely with a great selection of cereals fruit and a wonderful...

Our family of five recently had the pleasure of spending time at the Ballinsheen House. Due to a scheduling error, we were without rooms for the night. Mary made accommodations for us and even let our son (who was ill), check in to his room early to sleep for the day. This was easily the most beautiful property we stayed...

After a day of traveling, resting at the Ballinsheen House was the perfect end to our day. While it was cold and rainy outside, it was nothing but warm and inviting on the inside. Mary and Michael were fantastic hosts, and our one-night stay with them was one of our most restful nights! Quiet and comfortable, we enjoyed a great...

The gardens are great and the town close to the areas we wanted to visit, i.e., the Burren, Clifs of Mohren and the entire west Clare countryside. A great introduction to...

We stayed at the Ballinsheen House in July, and we couldn't have been more pleased. The breakfast was amazing - best we've had in Ireland. My daughter and I especially liked the yogurt. The best part of the stay, however, is Mary. We had some travel issues on the front end of our trip with airline delays, so I emailed...

I thought my home was inviting . . . this was the best B&B I stayed in Ireland during my three week stay. The rooms were bright, cheery with attention to details that made you smile and feel like a treasured friend. The gardens are beautiful. Mary was a wonderful host. Breakfast exceptional.
