I decided to re-visit Oughterard village with my elderly parents as I has stayed here some time ago.Thank you to Theresa and Walter for such a lovely welcome, Walter kindly carried my elderly parents bags to a ground floor bedroom overlooking the well maintained gardens. Theresa directed us to various places around the village and surrounding area, of course our...

I booked this B&B via the B&B Ireland website. The setting is wonderful and peaceful within the small town of Oughterard. It's easy to walk around from this location as the town is only a few blocks away. The room I stayed in was a bit weathered and outdated, perhaps some of the other rooms featured in the imagery have...

Stay a night or two with no worries in this immaculately clean B&B, in lovely quiet surroundings. Take a walk into town and return walking along the creek. Go for a run along the country road to ser the lake. Close to Glengowla mines! Pay in cash.

We stayed here for 3 nights, we have had lovely welcomes in every B&B we stayed at in Ireland. The owner told us that the wifi didn't reach into the bedrooms but was very kind and let me use their lounge to sit in and download my photos etc. Lovely house and gardens, yummy breakfasts with lots of choice, rooms...

Have had the pleasure of staying with Theresa and Walter many times over the last 10 years. Their home is spotless and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The Butler's are friendly and welcoming. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. It's the perfect spot when visiting Connemara.

This is a beautiful property with outstanding views from the lovely dining room. The bedroom had duvets which I do not like but blankets as well which made it fine for me. Wi-Fi was best when nearest the excellent sitting room but tended to become tentative the further from the room. Good and ample breakfast, small bathroom and shower, quiet,...

We loved our 2 night stay here. We felt so welcome. The price was very reasonable. The gardens were beautifully maintained and it was so relaxing to sit at the front of the house and watch life go by. If we ever get the chance to come back to Oughterard we will stay here for sure!

Kinsale tourist office booked this b&b for us. Arrived to find pleasant home and friendly owner. Rooms, one downstairs and one upstairs, clean and ample for our needs. Bathroom small but lovely to have ensuite. Bed comfy. Easy walk into town and good pub recommendation from owner. Breakfast included in tariff, served in nice room of house.
