Very rude, wouldn't recommend staying there. Went to the nearby castle and decided to drive by the lake, pulled in by the road away from the guest house and the viewing point at the lake and just as I got out of the car I the woman came from inside and told me to go as its private land, at no point was I on private land as it's a public road. Not very welcoming at all really
Mary , military style ! Rude ! Ordered us away as we arrived at 3pm and say that the rooms weren't available until 4pm. Place was basic , dirty , and smelled..... the beds were uncomfortable and dusty , breakfast was basic .... what the good reviews are about I have no idea , worst place in the area , surviving on the view I guess.
Had a lovely 3 night stay at the Waterfront. It’s located down a country lane through the local golf course. We has a lakeside view which was clean and tidy. The bathroom was a bit small but not an issue. The host Mary was very friendly with nothing being too much trouble who has been running the Waterfront for many years. The real highlight was the superb breakfast. From choices of many different breads at a great cooked breakfast. What could be better.
Lovely stay and welcome and the hostess Mary was par excellent --- and views to love over the loch -- would stay anytime. We also received lots of help on where to visit and best routes to take. Great eateries and prices in local quaint town. Leaving would bring tears to a glass eye---I should know.
Nice room. We had great view of the lake. Breakfast was plentiful and good. En suite was small. And the shower tiny. Mart very meant and full of suggestions. Very clean accommodations sat outside with some wine and watched the sun set.
