Mary was the perfect hostess. She was friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were great with a full Irish and a basket of homemade breads, cereal, fresh juice etc. Facilities for making hot drinks during the stay. Good bars with music a short drive away and reasonably cheap taxi was arranged. Good wifi. But the best thing was the view.....stunning...any closer to lough Corrib...

The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The wi-fi is a plus, very powerful. Breakfast is sumptuous. There is a also a boiler to prepare...

Stayed here whilst on fishing trip for trout on lough corrib. Comfortable room overlooking lake. Breakfast good and Mary couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely come again - this time we'd use Mary's ghillie - appeared more successful than the one we used! Weather not kind to us, though

A beautiful location, delicious breakfast, spacious room and a great host Mary made our stay perfect! When Mary found out I was vegetarian she made sure I was catered for and a sufficient breakfast was prepared. Thank you for looking after us and making us feel like at home.

I had a outstanding time here. Everything was fine . I hope to comeback soon. The house is on a narrow road with little traffic on the lakefront. I wish I had more time to stay and enjoy the surrounding area. Oughterard Golf Club and Aughnanure Castle are both nearby and worth a visit. Easy day trips to Pearse's Cottage,...

We have stayed there the 9th April for the Connemara Ultra Marathon. The house is great, very clean and comfortable. My husband had to leave very early morning, so he requested breakfast at half 5. No problem at all!! It is hard to get the request through sometimes, but with Mary, we had no issue at all. Our breakfast was...
