Absolutely lovely place to stay warm friendly very clean Mary and Gerry treated me as one of there own Would definitely recommend staying here As I have stayed in quite a few in my day It’s more like a home away from home
We stayed for 2 nights at Carrown Tober House and would highly recommend! Lovely, friendly people, great location, very clean room and we all had a great night sleep! The highlight was the breakfast, thank you Mary the kids loved their pancakes!
We stayed at Carrowntober for several nights with our two young children and had a wonderful time. The room was perfect for our family; the food was excellent; the location was very convenient for all of the local sights and for the town itself; and the proprietors were warm and welcoming
Great B&B just outside Oughterard, within walking distance, or a short taxi ride (€6). Ideal location for exploring the West of Ireland, Connemara, Wild Atlantic Way at any time of year. Been there before, will be there again
We spent 8 nights at this B&B and used it as our home base for day trips to the Connemara and surrounding area. It was perfect. The room was spacious and clean with everything we needed. We started our day off with a delicious and robust breakfast that had lots of variety. Our hosts Gerry and Mary were very friendly and a great source of information for things to see and how to get there. It was very easy to come and go as we pleased. Location was a short walk to the quaint village of Oughterard that has various restaurants and shops. There are also good walks close by as well as a well restored castle, Aughnanure Castle. We can't say enough good about the B&B and its hosts. Made for a wonderful vacation.
