The owner and family are lovely people and we really enjoyed our stay there. Rooms and facilities are good. Great location - 5 minute walk to a lovely pub in the village called Powers. Perfect spot to explore the local area.

Our two night stay in Carrown Tober House was comfortable and quiet and near a non-tourist filled village. Breakfast was a feast! Gerry, our host, was extremely helpful with tips for seeing the Connemara region. My favorite feature was an old iron stove which burned peat from the family bog! My Irish experience was complete!

Lovely, immaculate house with a most friendly host in Gerry McDonnell. The generous breakfast was excellent. We could mingle with other guests comfortably and/or feel completely at ease dining alone. A perfect start to our Ireland vacation.
