The hotel itself looks nice. I had Sunday dinner with my girlfriend, we were very disappointed with the food. It was quite plain/bland. We had two mains and two drinks and it cost around €50 so it's not exactly cheap either. I don't think I would return here for food again.

We ate dinner here today in the front bar. Staff around were great especially Shannon. She was very attentive and polite. but layout of the carvery is dire. You get your food then stand in the middle of the floor trying to pay. Very hard to do with a heavy tray. Dessert station is messy to deal with, no staff...

This is a nice clean hotel. Well decked out in the public areas. The food is fairly basic but there is nothing wrong with it - plenty of choice and the usual Irish sized portions. Make sure you are hungry if you order the full Irish breakfast! We stayed in two rooms - one double and one the Alaiin Suite....

While this is a very welcoming hotel the food at times can be average enough, a bit hot and miss. We had a large family gathering here recently and not everyone was satisfied with the main course. The desserts by contracts were superb. Perhaps more attention and better oversight is needed when large groups are in.

We were booked to this hotel by Air Transat Holidays on a road trip package. We enjoyed the hotel and the Irish Breakfast in the morning. The personnel were very nice and very helpful. Room was a little outdated but still comfortable. The hotel was a little out of Galway. The check-in and check-out were done promptly and the lady...

The hotel generally has been ok - they cope with the breakfast, and meals despite a small kitchen area To work in. However, here is the problem. Frank the night porter seriously needs firing. Having been at a funeral we decided to go into Tuam after having had our evening meal in the restaurant bar. I am English and did not...
