Ballyduff House, built in 1760, is set in glorious parkland overlooking the river Nore. It is the beautiful home of Brede Thomas who, as well as running the B&B also farms. The setting is totally unspoiled which is almost unique in this part of Ireland.

We had a lovely stay at Ballyduff. The property is beautiful, filled with character, and Bred was the perfect host. The rooms were warm and handsome, the beds beautifully made and the Irish breakfast is not to be missed. All round, a wonderful stay!

We were so pleased that we selected this home for a recent one-night stay, and we would have happily stayed longer. This is an older, sophisticated country home with pedigree. We felt privileged to enjoy it, loving the antiques and old books as we do. The bedroom was larger
