I have stayed in many guesthouses across Ireland and most of them have have been of a very high standard but this was special . Grove house was 2mins from pier and town and bedrooms were large and comfortable all with their own theme . Breakfast was made to your individual choice - nothing was a problem . This place...

We returned again for a family visit to West Cork and spent three nights here with 5 members of our family. Everything about Grove House is fab from the hostess through to the food, rooms, service and dogs. It is a totally relaxing place where nothing is too much trouble and we all love it. Well done and see you...

Stayed 22/09/2014. Loved the place. It was a beautiful building full of old world charm & just a short stroll to the middle of town. The room was spacious & very comfortable with a generous size en suite & the breakfast was wonderful. Katarina was delightful & very helpful. Definitely a great place to stay.

Grove House was a beautiful, welcoming, homey B&B. It was eclectic, clean, spacious, and a good value. We only stayed one night, but wish we could have stayed more. Our bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and the breakfast was phenomenal. Katarina and Nico have done a fabulous job with this B&B- they were friendly and accommodating without being...

What a wonderfully well run place to stay! Nothing lacked!! It has that homey country feeling of yore. Katherina the swedish yet local owner/manager runs a tight and welcoming ship. Lunch al fresco by the side of the house was simple and delicious, smoked salmon with scrambles eggs, an amazing baguette BLT with local smoked Gubbeen bacon and a warm...

Grove House has great character and wonderful views, with a warm welcome. We were so lucky with the weather and enjoyed a drink in the garden looking out to sea. The icing on the cake was a superb dinner, the best of home cooking. Highly recommonded.

What a great welcome we got and the rooms, just what was required. Great room with a harbour view, no all plastic and new modern furniture it was crafted with love which shows. Definitely worth staying and we will be staying there again.

I stayed alone for two weeks with the task to finish a book. I could not have chosen a better place! The house, the room, Katarina, the staff, the village, and the countryside were the perfect combination of inspiration, privacy, peace, support and encouragement. And...the food was amazing. Katarina and Nico provided a flexible menu to make every meal a...

Six of us stayed here for a local family christening and could not have had a better stay. The views are amazing; the food all home made and totally delicious; very comfortable and attractive rooms and the team all outstanding. Katarina is the perfect hostess and nothing is too much trouble. We will be back for sure. Thank you.
