My wife and I only spent one night here on a recent trip to Baltimore, though we wished we were staying longer. She was there for warm conversation and help when we wanted it, but also would leave us alone when we wanted quiet and alone time. O'Driscolls is in a great spot for exploring Baltimore. Right on the square and if you're lucky - a beautiful view of the harbour from your bedroom window. Beautiful view on the bustling harbour of Baltimore and a pub and restaurants next door. Clean, spacious room with a comfortable bathroom. Bernadettte is very hospitable and enthusiastic; she makes you feel welcome. She makes a good breakfast in the morning.

My husband and I stayed at the Corner House while on a cycling vacation. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. Our room did not have a view but was comfortable and clean. There is a small sitting room where you can find coffee, tea, and cookies during the day. The breakfast was very nice and the salmon was delicious....

For nearly one week Baltimore was supposed to become our "base" in order to explore some of Ireland's south-westerly beauty-spots (having seen Kerry, Conemara etc.in previous years). The Corner House was recommended by friends who stayed there at Easter and we spent a very pleasant couple of nights there.
