Knockeven House is a lovely old home with a charming hostess. Pam met us at the door offering tea and scones and continued to provide everything needed for our three days there. Her recommendations for trips and restaurants were right on. Our first night was in the gold room, a large lovely room. The next day we moved to the...

The bed & breakfast was difficult to find as Ireland doesn't have many clear street signs. We stopped for directions and the locals were quite friendly and willing to help! When we got there, Pam, the owner, brought us in and offered us tea, coffee, and a rest. We sat and chatted with her for a while. Our room was...

Our family recently stayed overnight at Knockeven House while on a tour of West Cork. We were warmly welcomed by Pam. From the time of our arrival to our departure Pam made every effort to ensure we were comfortable and well informed of the many places of interest in Cobh and surrounding area. Although we were very pleased with the...

We spent one night with Pam and John our wonderful hosts. This place is just awesome. It was just like being home. The grounds are amazing and Pam was just so knowledgeable about places to go and things to. She was also able to recommend a great restaurant to have dinner at. The Trade Winds Inn if I recall from...

We stayed in Cobh for several nights in September and were pleasantly surprised with the lovely accommodations. The best part was the wonderful hospitality offered to us by Pam, who welcomed us with tea as well as directions into town and info on the area. We felt welcome and pampered and would recommend her home to anyone. Thank you for...

Wonderful accommodations, excellent host who takes her time to ensure you see any or all sights of interest in the area, plus somewhat of a history buff of Cobh. Pam found us when we arrived in town, got us quickly to her place and treated us like royalty, or good friends. If in this area, stay with Pam, you won't...

My husband Brian and I had a wonderful stay at Knockeven House from the 10th to the 14th September 2013. It's a beautiful house with amazing hosts, Pam went over and beyond our expectations of a B & B host. She was always there either to feed us with food or information, even making phone calls for me to search...

My wife, daughter and I vstayed at Knockeven on September 12, 2013 and it was great experience. The house is beautiful with high ceilings and wonderful windows, doors and molding. The rooms were the best we stayed in during our visit to Ireland and the owners were very helpful and accommodating. Excellent place to stay!

I visited here yesterday for afternoon tea with a friend. It was an experience to sit in the beautiful drawing room with silver and bone china to a tea tine treat of little sandwiches, homemade scones with jam and cream and little cakes. It was all presented on the traditional way and our hostess Pam made sure we had a...
