Summer Hill is a superb B&B run by Cornelius O'Sullivan. What makes Summer Hill so special is the care taken when one is a guest. The rooms that my friend and I had were spotlessly clean and comfortable, the breakfasts delicious and a great selection and nothing is too much trouble for Cornelius. I don't know of many other B&B's...

We stayed in this adorable B&B for only one night because our VW campervan broke down on our way through Castletownbere and we needed somewhere to sleep until the repair was done. We were welcomed by Neil and his cute little dog Snuggles! The room was impeccably clean, spacious and lovingly decorated. The breakfast was great and had everything from...

We stay here nearly every august bank holiday and I/We wouldn't stay anywhere else. Always a great welcome from Nealy and his Wife and you get a lovely breakfast. a little stroll out from the town but it never stops us booking.

We have been hiking on the Beara Way and arrived on rainy day and got very fiendly welcome by Cornelius. We stood there for two nights and enjoyed it very much and felt very comfortable! Even TV watching makes fun (is a Insider)

The beds were really comfortable, and Neal is well set-up to provide for walkers on the Beara Way. The location is fine, just a few minutes from the edge of town and about 10 to the center of Castletownbere. The breakfast was good. The showers had lots of umpf, and Neal is a great host. Recommended!

Neal was an excellent host, and the property was great! We were in a separate building at the back, very quiet although there were at least four rooms there. Excellent breakfast, and as walkers on the Beara Way, this was a great location. A five minute walk from the edge of town, and ten minutes to the centre. Thanks!

Beds were very comfy , breakfast was average, orange juice not fresh, fruit salad apples and oranges (tinned on second day). Walking distance to town though not sure if owner approved of late nights in the pub as he was keen to point out that we make no noise at night-we are two middle aged ladies who usually tell our...

Very welcoming and friendly host, the rooms are immaculately clean, the beds is the most comfortable I've had travelling for a while. Great spot close to the town (5 mins walking time). Normal range of breakfast selections, very accommodating for breakfast arrangements.

The accommodation itself was fantastic and the scenery was just amazing all topped off by the owner Neily ( Cornelius ) who accommodated us at very short notice , a gentleman and definitely my first port of call when I return to this part of the country

Me and my friend were lucky - they were almost full except of one family room. The room was really big, clean and nice, with all amenities that you need. Good breakfast with variety of choice. Booth owners nice and chatty.

Thank Ewa S
