One may hesitate staying at such an isolated place, pretty far out from Bantry. Don't. Nestled in quiet and idyllic farm country with a view of the inlet running along Sheeps Head Peninsula is the Seamount Farms B&B. It's not just a place to stay, but a destination in its own right. And the accommodations themselves do not disappoint. Friendly,...

lovely little B&B with newly renovated rooms, European standard bathroom and the best breakfast we had in 3 weeeks in Ireland. It may be around 8 km from downtown Bantry but the view on Bantry Bay is realy lovely. Hoped we could have stayed longer. Thank's a lot to Julia and Charlie for the most pleasant stay. Falko Germany

We stayed for 3 nights and wished it was longer. The welcome from our hosts was warm and friendly, the room was exquisitely decorated and fitted and you could have eaten your dinner off the floor it was so clean. The whole place was decorated to an excellent standard. The house is on the northern coast road of the Sheeps...

Lovely guest house in tranquil location - ideal for walking or touring round the Sheep's Head Peninsular. We were warmly welcomed by Charlie with offer of tea & scones on arrival. Spotlessly clean and comfortable en suite bedroom and a hearty breakfast. Tea making facilities are not in bedrooms, however a hospitality tray is set out in the downstairs living...

This beautifully kept cottage in a superb location is all you can wish for when looking for a tranquil holiday break. We were greeted with a refreshing cup of tea and warm scones. Charlie and Julie gave us advice on local inns and called ahead for us to check Sunday opening hours and availability. The room like the rest of...

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights as part of our honeymoon through Ireland and we loved it. The owners (Charlie and Julia) were incredibly nice and helpful. We needed to get to a ring of Kerry tour and Charlie called multiple tour groups until he found one that we could go on. The scones they made...

This place was amazing! You really feel like you've stepped back in time with the comforts of today! The owners Charlie and Julia have to be two of the sweetest people I've met. The room I was in was so cute and comfortable.

This area of Ireland is beautiful and noncommercial. Our stay at Seamount was relaxing and comfortable not to mention that the hospitality and food was unsurpassed and delicious. We stayed in Ireland for two weeks and this was our best experience. Charlie and Julia know the history of this peninsula and they were thoughtful about helping us enjoy our stay....

I had the pleasure of staying in Seamount in September with a walking group and I cannot rate it highly enough!! As a local put it so eloquently "When you pass through the entrace to Seamount you enter a different world, you leave all your cares outside". The genuine warmth and hospitality of Charlie and Julianne , the comfort of...

This is a perfect place to stay if you want to get away from it all. The landlady is very nice and cooks great breakfasts. I would recommend this spot for anyone. In the evening don't miss to go to Eileens pub !
