Pleasant stay in this grand old house with beautiful gardens and view. Excellent breakfast with quality products (gluten free toast available). Great to have access to the library during the evening and enjoy a drink (honesty bar). Free House tour with David was great, very interesting and his story telling made the ancestors and house come alive. Town an easy...

Our stay at Bantry House was absolutely amazing... Beautiful house, large rooms, very comfortable bed, modern bathrooms, very smiling hosts, amazing breakfast (try the pancakes!!). Would definitely recommend this B&B. Only negative point: one night was too short!

Had a wonderful weekend in Bantry House. Sophie and Josh give a great welcome and it was a special treat to enjoy the open fire in the main drawing room in the evening. Breakfast was lovely. Emily gave a super tour of the house, lots a great information topped off by a tune on the piano!

The name "House B&B" could be confusing...it's more a small castle overlooking Bantry Bay. Only 6 rooms overlooking the gardens in the back. Take the time to visit the gardens and the house (free for B&B guests), it's fantastic and full of history. The breakfast was excellent, pancakes, porridge, scrambled eggs, everything we tasted was good. 2 minor issues :...

What a lovely experience, it's hard to know where to begin. The house is amazing with a breathtaking view of the bay. Our rooms were spacious & comfortable overlooking the formal gardens in the back. The wisteria was in full bloom and couldn't have been prettier. The White family was welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. Sitting in...

Booking early for 2 nights we got a great deal at Bantry House. When we arrived we realized it was even better than expected. Our room was large and comfortable with views over the formal garden. Sitting in the library of a grand house at night with a log fire burning it was easy to daydream that you were the...

Where to start? Staying four nights at Bantry House was the highlight of our 2+ weeks in Ireland. Living like a lord (an early, actually) was a unique experience. This 47 room mansion, dating from the mid-1700s has been in the same family for ten generations. While the house itself is less than pristine (it’s a lot to keep up),...
