Very traditional Irish establishment. No bells and whistles. Just quality food, beer and kind people who run it. Awesome Irish breakfast with outstanding porridge. Make sure to add the real whip cream Annie brings you. Cozy and clean rooms. Skibereen is a wonderful, historical city full of Irish history. Just talk to Annie.

It's budget friendly so don't go with any notions!! But if ur expectations are in check you'll love it! The food is the best pub grub you'll find anywhere!! Massive portions :) But what makes this place is the friendly staff, always smiling and so pleasant!

Stayed here on a Friday night for a wedding in the West Cork Hotel (less than a five minute walk). It was great value €35 which covered a full breakfast (that is served as late as you want) and a single room. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The rooms are basic but have everything you need and are clean.

I have stayed on a Monday to Friday basis with work at Annie mays and it is certainly one of the best family run b&bs l have stayed in but this is more than a b&b with its own pub and restaurant you are made to feel right at home by paddy Angela paudie and staff excellent food and plenty...

Stayed here over the weekend and it was great, the welcome was warm and full of useful information about the town. The bar had a few locals who also chatted to us and made us feel completely at home. Our room was bright clean and fresh, the town was charming to walk around and we returned in the evening for...

Stayed here while doing a tour of west cork and loved it. A great family run with oodles of charm & history. The rooms were fresh and clean. The bed was very comfortable and there was great light coming into the room with a large window and skylight. The stay was great value for money. Would return for sure.

Just sitting in the bar after a fabulous late breakfast and a wonderful nights sleep. we arrived late Monday evening and got a wonderful welcome, the man behind the bar explained that they have music on Wednesday night, but that if we walked about town we would definitely find a session and he was right. On Tuesday we went to...

Myself and my partner stayed here for 3 nights and I'm finding it hard to fault our stay. I'd have to argue that the comments below are no where near what we experienced. The service was top notch, food delightful. The staff were more than friendly and gave us great tips on what there was to see around west cork....

Stayed here overnight last month. The twin room was rather small and drab and certainly the worst bed I've been unfortunate to sleep in. I agree with a previous reviewer's comment about the welcome, practically non-existent.. The breakfast was good ,however we had dinner the previous evening and it was nothing special. Cutlery put down with a salt and pepper...

I am somewhat surprised by some of these glowing reviews of Annie's. While the breakfast was good and at that time owners were quite pleasant, the night before was a different story. There was little to no welcome. In fact, the gentleman behind the bar in the pub downstairs actually seemed surprised and humored by the fact that we were...
