West Cork Hotel , I remember being carried there by Mum and Dad for sunday lunches over 40 years ago and still going strong . Was on a Motorbike run on a sunday and decided to drop in for Sunday lunch. The place hasn't changed one bit , the staff are friendly and were coming around offering more food ....

Been coming here for years and this hotel has so much to offer. The restaurant is fantastic, large selection of great food. From steak, fish, curries, burgers, great chicken wings! This is a great place for lunch with the girls or evening dinner with the family. There's a great bar, formal dining room or a cozy hall in front of...

We returned to one of our favourite Irish hotels for our recent Easter break in the glorious sunshine. The West Cork offers comfortable, affordable accommodation in a gorgeous riverside setting. We enjoyed hearty, homely food from the bar menu and a plentiful breakfast in the restaurant every morning. The old style key for the room was a nice reminder of...

We were lucky to get a room for a Saturday night as the hotel is booked out most weekends for weddings (advantage of Easter Saturday). Reception: The lady on reception was friendly and helpful. The Room: Our room was to the front...

We chose the West Cork Hotel more by luck than judgement, but what luck.... To say the position of the hotel is central...

This is a lovely venue. We dined in the bar and the place had a lovely atmosphere. Couples, groups and families. Several menu options include daily specials and a la carte. I had delicious vegetable soup with brown bread followed by Guinness and beef pie. Very tasty food, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Would recommend!

This is my second stay within a few months and I am happy to report the same friendly welcome and attention. The rooms are not over the top but they are quite, very clean and sufficiently spacious. The restaurant is lively and does its very best to offer a nice moment at either breakfast , lunch or dinner. (just one...

Stopped in for a late lunch- hubbie and I chose the salmon and hake from a broad ranged menu. Wow! Two delicious dishes! Our complements to the chef. All the staff were friendly and helpful. This is a gem in Skib!
