I am not a B&B person but I decided to try out Bridge House and I knew from the start it would be an experience. It is centrally located in the town so perfect for walking about and going out in the evening. I half wondered, if it would be dusty with all the items in-house BUT to my surprise...

The Bridge house is a totally different experience.Mona's photographs adorn the walls. The rooms have too many decorative items which results in confusion. It is too cluttered and dusty . The atmosphere is not fresh despite the use of a strong air freshener All said and done, Mona is a very pleasant host. The breakfast served was good.

Wow, where to begin? The front door itself sparked so much excitement and curiosity in me. This is definitely not your typical B&B experience...it's so much better! This is a place for imaginative, creative, fun loving people. It is so much more than just a place to rest your head along your journey. Mona is a beautiful woman inside and...

Bridge House is not as much a B&B as it is an experience, and unlike any place I've ever stayed (or am likely to stay.) There was a mixup on our arrival date so our first night in Skibbereen was spent elsewhere, but when we did get inside we were transported to some different world. The furnishings were eclectic and...

What a wonderful place to stay unusual, full of character, magic and quirkiness, excellent breakfast served by the two lovely ladies Mona and Celene. Mona was very helpful in advising us on places to eat and drink in Skibbereen. Will certainly visit again.

The Bridge House B&B is definitely the best B&B I ever stayed in - in the whole world. In fact, it is better than any hotel I ever stayed in. The superb hospitality is outstanding. The highly detailed and personal design of every space in the whole house is superb and unique. Many of the objects have their own stories,...

If you like "different" book into Bridge House. You will talk about this place til your dying day! It is so fantastically eccentric and beautiful all in one. We stayed for 2 nights in August and would have loved to stay longer. Mona, the owner is a fantastic character who has created something really special here. There is no space...

Last weekend the car was packed up & headed south from Dublin to Skibbereen with no accommodation or plans, except to enjoy a relaxing weekend in the sea around surrounded by beautiful countryside & evening banter in the local pubs. During a conversation with someone who was passing through skibbereen last year & never left, they told me to have...

I loved my stay at Mona's B&B. Comfortable bed. Great tasting, generously portioned breakfast. Very interesting decor. Warm hospitality. Everyone in the area seemed to know Mona! And I could see why. She is very good company. And generous with her time and advice. And....has been collecting amazing (and quirky) stuff for a long long time. You'll enjoy the place.

Monas B&B or better known as the Bridge House opens you a gate into a world full of magic. It is unusual in all areas. You will need weeks to realise all the details in this house and you will always find something new. The house is full of change. The breakfast is the best example for that. Each day...
