Detailed Reviews
Noel and Maureen were such amazing hosts, and wound up being from New York just like us! They had so many helpful tips for the surrounding area, in particular we were looking for a hike close by and they had information at our disposal. They also offered great insight into some local eateries and close by Valentia Island, the car ferry is literally at the end of their block. The location is perfect for a boat from Portmagee to Skellig Michael and the Wild Atlantic Way and Ring of Kerry driving down to Cahersiveen was absolutely breathtaking. Kerry was the highlight of our 8 day trip and we owe thanks to this amazing couple for making our first stop our favorite. Super warm and inviting people, made you feel at home immediately. Rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious. We plan on returning to Ireland one day and this will definitely be a B&B we book again.

My wife and I spent 5 nights at this B&B last week and it was fantastic. We used this as a base for visiting many sites along the West Coast of Ireland and it was perfect. Maureen could not have been any kinder and her tips and suggestions made a huge difference in helping us maximize our time. You feel like a member of the family while you are staying. Room was awesome and the breakfast each morning was great and kept us going through until Dinner each day. I can’t recommend this place enough for a fantastic visit in Ireland.

We stayed here over a period of 4 nights, we needed a family room plus wheelchair amenities , both were excellent
Maureen and Noel were wonderful hosts and very kind to us as a family
I would highly recommend this cosy, clean and comfortable home from home
Tea, coffee and snacks are available all evening ( no additional charge) and the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are also plentiful in each room, lots of clean towels too
There are tea/ coffee trays with chocolate biscuits provided in each room.
Lots of free parking and WIFI
The breakfast was amazing with fabulous views!
Thank you again for a lovely stay, we will be back

We had a lovely one night stay at this B&B when doing Ring of Kerry. The room was lovely decorated and very clean, warm and cosy, mattress was perfect. We had a very good sleep and felt rested to continue the trip. Our hosts vere more than welcoming and offered us some snacks when we arrived for a late check in at 8pm. Te host Lady (think her name is Maureen) made us some delicious maple syrup pancakes, good big filling portions,I wasn't hungry till 3 pm. Would highly recommend this b&b.

+1
We've spent one night at Maureen & Noel's, and it has been a great pleasure. Very heartwarming atmosphere, unbelievebly cosy!
If you have the chance, stay there and say "hy" from us. We'll come back.
The landscape is beautiful and there is a lot to visit. Free wifi and great breakfast are included.

Just returned from staying at the Ocean View B&B and though I never review accommodations this time I had to. What a wonderful treat to find such a place. Noel and Maureen are so friendly and their place is warm and you feel welcomed from the minute you drive into the driveway.
Our room (room #1 of 6) looked over the ocean and has a nice sitting area but we were too busy enjoying the warmth of the peat stove in the main room which is very large. The B&B is only 2km from the ferry to Valencia Isle and on the Ring of Kerry. We took a day trip to The Cliffs of Moher and on our return enjoyed conversation with guest as more came in from around the world.
Noel recommended visiting the Ballycarberry Castle and Cahergall Stone Fort which is less than 1km from the Ocean View.
We cannot say enough good about Ocean View B&B a very clean, warm and hospitable place to stay.

Perfect location in the Ring of Kerry. Maureen & Noel are wonderful hosts. Maureen's delicious baked goods and their hardy breakfasts are worth the stay alone! The B&B has waterfront views which we enjoyed as we ate our breakfast. The area is gorgeous! Words alone cannot describe the beauty of this area. You MUST MUST GO and you MUST MUST MUST stay at the Ocean View.

What a lovely place this was. The rooms were very comfortable and welcoming. Noel and Maureen I felt go that extra mile with regards the requirements of a B&B. The sitting room available to all guests was very large and relaxing. The breakfast was superb and Noel and Maureen could not have been more helpful. I wished we could have stayed there longer. To top it all if you turn left out of Ocean View about a mile down the road you come to a dead end where there is the Valentia ferry port which takes you across to the island of Valentia and the Point pub which was amazing for drinks and excellent food. While we were having a pint of Guinness through the pub window we were watching the Gannets diving into the water for their tea. Amazing place.

What a nice host! Michael made us welcome. the view is so pleasant. The food In the morning was excellent. Being on the hill above the city ( close enough to walk too) made it an extra special place to relax after a long day of visiting site in the area.
You will not be disappointed, the room was very bright and ,very clean.
have fun, meeting Michael and visiting his nice town. Michael taking time to assist us and drive us into town and pick us up made it special, as I was sick of driving on edge on the small roads in Ireland,so diner was relaxing and no stress on driving to end the day.
