Travelling with my dog , I had a Garden room which consisted of a huge double bed , two bunk beds and a small kitchen! A small patio area opened out into a huge garden where I tied up my dog on a long long lead and he sniffed all around him while I sipped on my pint on the patio. It was a perfect place for me and my dog. The entrance from the garden is the entrance for the pets which is ideal for me and my dig while also not bothering other guests. Dogs are not allowed in the restraunt or bar or public areas of the hotel apart from the TV room which has an entrance from the front. With or without a dog the view of the mountains is fab and the nearby Glenbeigh beach is unbelievable.

Lovely Sunday lunch without a reservation. Beautifully prepared Burger oozed natural goodness and flavour with generous sides, chips cooked to perfection. The prices are extremely reasonable, staff unfailing courteous, discreetly checking everything is OK without overly intruding on a gorgeous dining experience. Maybe we will return during the week, the lamb appeared to be a very popular choice by neighbouring guests. Ww arrived as strangers; we left having made new freinds. Towers Hotel, Glenbeigh, thank you for exquisite dining and drinking experience. Your staff are a credit to you.

Had dinner here with my family on a Sunday evening. The place was buzzing, was looking forward to some nice food. What a let down, my husband got the lasagne, it looked like it had been zapped in the microwave 10 times over. Big lump of dry mince with some hard pasta on top, dreadful. I got the chicken stir fry, it was swimming in grease & it certainly wasn’t home made sauce, definitely straight from a packet. Even the kids burger was almost inedible. Very disappointing overall & certainly won’t be returning.

Dined in the bar last week and had chicken curry which was just slopped onto the plate. I was so sick within an hour. I should have sent it back but the floor staff were so nice I just couldn't complain to them. Chef you really need to get your act together, the rest of my family had tasteless flavourless food. Will not be back.

Food expensive but not tasty! Stopped off on way back from a lovely day in Kells Bay. What a disappointing meal. The staff were lovely, attentive and courteous but that’s where the positives stop. The brown bread served with the chowder was stale. The burger mediocre, turkey much the same, portions were generous enough, but would much prefer quality and not quantity. And, as already mentioned, expensive for what we got. Will pass by here the next time.

Very disappointed with our stay here. Rooms are very dated and the music from the local pub blaring into the early hours of the morning made it very difficult to sleep. We paid €400 for 2 people for 2 nights and payment was requested upon arrival. This price was meant to include breakfast yet staff would not facilitate a 7am breakfast. When we were leaving the hotel just before 7:30am, we discovered that the main door of the hotel was locked. There was no way for guests to unlock the door from the inside. We had to wait for a member of staff to arrive for work. When questioned about this, we were informed that the night porter finishes at 5am and that reception does not open until 7:30am. Surely this is in breach of fire safety regulations. The only redeeming factor was that we were served a good breakfast on the second day. I wouldn’t return to this hotel.

Dropped in for lunch and booked two rooms. Apparently you can do the Ring of Kerry in a day- it took us three days just because we found some amazing little places, and stopped off. This was the best find of our little Break. Lovely staff, good food and the owner was patient enough to give me the history of the paintings displayed. The rooms were lovely, the hotel setting was very nice. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay - they have the loveliest bar staff ever. Nice little pub across the way. Will definitely return and only sorry we missed the live music by a day.

My wife and I attended a wedding at this hotel on Saturday 2nd April. It was a smashing day. All of the staff were lovely, and couldn't do more for the guests. Would be happy to recommend this hotel to others getting married, certainly the staff did everything to make the bride and groom and all guests have a great day. It's also a very nice and clean hotel with plenty of character. Dr. Pat O'Sullivan
