We stayed here for one night while walking the Kerry Way booked through Macs Adventures. We were very happy with our stay here, the hotel has a very friendly atmosphere and we had a lovely large room with sea view. We had tea making facilities and the food in the evening and at breakfast was excellent. For Kerry Way walkers, it is also useful to know that it is close to a supermarket and shops. And, a cafe for tea and cake!! Well Done!

My wife and I went for dinner on 12 August. Food was pretty good but the service was woeful. I dropped my wife off while I parked the car. She was at the table when I arrived looking at a menu. I wasn't offered a menu - but no big deal. We ordered and our food arrived. Well - most of it. We had to point out that the side dish my wife had ordered hint arrived. Response - Oh, I will get it! We then saw staff showing the specials board to other tables - it wasn't shown to us and we didn't know there was a specials board until then. We would have ordered from the specials board if we had seen it. After we had finished our main course, one member of staff who was clearing tables took our plates and left an empty glass on our table from somewhere else. We were asked how our food was - answer very good, but when we pointed out that we would have appreciated having been shown the specials board, the waitress didn't know how to handle this. All we got in response was a grin! At this point we noticed that every other table was given a bottle of water for the table, but not us. Service in general seemed quite disorganised and it wasn't clear which member of the service team was responsible for our table. We certainly didn't experience the standard of service that other reviews have mentioned. When it came to pay we were told to go out to the desk where we came in to pay. I did so and was then told I needed to go somewhere else - chaotic! Overall, a pretty good meal, spoiled by the total lack of a customer service ethos, with most of the service team we engaged with demonstrating a surly attitude. Lots of training needed for the service team. Won't be rushing back any time soon.

Called in after taking our horses up and around the hills and valleys of Glenbeigh. After riding non-stop for three hours, the chicken sandwich on brown bread and the chowder were just the tonic to renew our strength. The staff, as always are super freindly and obliging. Hope to make it a regular stop as we enjoy all the locality has to offer.

Had drinks and food here on several occasions during our holiday. We had excellent service and delicious food on all our visits. We'd like to give a special shout out for Bernard who single handedly ran the bar area on a very busy night ensuring all food was delivered in quick sharp time. All bar staff were brilliant too, everyone was friendly, efficient and professional. Well done to all.

Travelling with my dog , I had a Garden room which consisted of a huge double bed , two bunk beds and a small kitchen! A small patio area opened out into a huge garden where I tied up my dog on a long long lead and he sniffed all around him while I sipped on my pint on the patio. It was a perfect place for me and my dog. The entrance from the garden is the entrance for the pets which is ideal for me and my dig while also not bothering other guests. Dogs are not allowed in the restraunt or bar or public areas of the hotel apart from the TV room which has an entrance from the front. With or without a dog the view of the mountains is fab and the nearby Glenbeigh beach is unbelievable.

Lovely Sunday lunch without a reservation. Beautifully prepared Burger oozed natural goodness and flavour with generous sides, chips cooked to perfection. The prices are extremely reasonable, staff unfailing courteous, discreetly checking everything is OK without overly intruding on a gorgeous dining experience. Maybe we will return during the week, the lamb appeared to be a very popular choice by neighbouring guests. Ww arrived as strangers; we left having made new freinds. Towers Hotel, Glenbeigh, thank you for exquisite dining and drinking experience. Your staff are a credit to you.

Dined in the bar last week and had chicken curry which was just slopped onto the plate. I was so sick within an hour. I should have sent it back but the floor staff were so nice I just couldn't complain to them. Chef you really need to get your act together, the rest of my family had tasteless flavourless food. Will not be back.

Food expensive but not tasty! Stopped off on way back from a lovely day in Kells Bay. What a disappointing meal. The staff were lovely, attentive and courteous but that’s where the positives stop. The brown bread served with the chowder was stale. The burger mediocre, turkey much the same, portions were generous enough, but would much prefer quality and not quantity. And, as already mentioned, expensive for what we got. Will pass by here the next time.
