Spent a night here with frineds during our Ring Of Kerry trip. Nice and comfortable rooms, friendly hospitality. Good irish breakfast served in the morning! This was my second visit here! The town centre is very close.

My wife and I have stayed here a few times. Pauline and John are terrific hosts and are always a pleasure to meet. The rooms are spot on, and it's only a 5-minute walk to the town centre. Very highly recommended.

If you look for accommodation where you feel at home from the first moment you open the door, Lakemount B & B is your place to stay. Pauline is passionate about her work and she and her husband, who is the local garda officer also, and are proud to show off their four (I think its four) cute, with love furnished rooms which suit any request. Single, Double, Family.
Lakemount has also the advantage that it is in walking distance to all the amenities Killorglin has to offer and still is not in the middle of the town. Opposite it is even on the road which leads to the Ring of Kerry, which commences in Killorglin. It is a very cute and cosy looking house in a small very friendly estate at the end of the town.

Very nice accommodation, very friendly people and on the way to one of the most beautiful parts of the country!!
Highly recommend it!

We visited the B&B as part of our family road trip around IRELAND in July.
From the outset we were greeted by John, the owner who showed us to our huge family room. Asked when we fancied breakfast....
we headed into the town and had dinner, it’s only a 5 min walk into the town from the B&B and 2 min walk from a shop.
Breakfast was massive, cereals, and a full Irish. Normally I wouldn’t eat Black pudding but the everything on the plate was ate! It saves on having to get lunch out and about.
Very friendly all in and all and a great place to stay when exploring Kerry.

We were so very lucky to stay at this B&B, we couldn't have asked for a better one. The owners couldn't do enough to make us feel more welcome with all the best of the Irish hospitality. Perfect "Full Irish" every morning with all the trimmings and a full rundown of everything going on far and wide.
If we're ever back in the area it'll be a no brainer for where to stay, in fact, we may come back because of the B&B!

After 3 and a half hours on a train I just wanted a quick check in and a nap and i got exactly that. They just showed me the room and that was it. It's run by a lovely family and there was a proper continental breakfast and option for a fry up included. Comfortable and clean and close to local amenities.

There was the warmest of welcomes from the moment I arrived, the room was spacious and well appointed, and John couldn't have been more helpful. I was woken by the smell of breakfast cooking the next morning, which would have been all right, except for the fact that it was very early!
I was about to drive the Ring of Kerry and so this worked well.

Stayed here for two nights for Puck Fair. We had just cycled the Ring of kerry and were glad of a hot shower and cosy beds! We didn't make it at the time we had told the B&B and this caused a problem as we got a call telling us we had to be there ASAP or the room would be given away. Even though we had it booked! However, the location of the B&B is perfect, the Breakfast is great, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Very reasonably priced too for peak season and a high quality accommodation. I would recommend without hesitation.
