Kingston's Bar & Townhouse offers a 13 en-suite bedroom stylist facility. We also have a traditional bar where Erwin Kingston is forth generation where the bar dates back to 1889. Our pizzas are amazing, in that we mature our dough over a four day process, all our cheese is handmade in a small farm about 40 minutes from us and we use the best San Marzano tomatoes. These are worth a try...

Detailed Reviews
Lovely place with a perfect location if you're coming to Kerry to visit Carrantoohil mountain or any spot on the Ring of Kerry. It's 15min drive from the starting point to climb Carrantoohil (Cronin's Yard).
Kingston Townhouse is a beautiful and fresh accommodation, really well looked after by owners. The entire place is renovated and clean. The room was modernly decorated and very clean, carpet on the floor so soft and the bed very comfortable. Also, the toilet was spotless. They provide you with a small complimentary toiletries. There is a hair dryer in the room as well.
The breakfast was just perfect to start your day off. Fresh, local smoked salmon, platter with meats, selection of breads and amazing warm croissants. Lovey lady at the bar will also serve tasty coffee, tea and fresh orange juice.
The location is so great as you can find amazing restaurants by the walking distance (literally 2min walk!). The entire Killorglin is so charming and not over crowded.
Owners and staff very polite and friendly, but at the same time not all over you which we very much appreciated as we were looking for a quite place to relax just for two of us.
The room was located on the 1st floor with the street view. For someone who has a light sleep I would recommend to get a room on the other side of the building if possible. Especially, if you stay during the weekend as the music from the restaurant across the street and from the bar on the ground floor can be a little bit disturbing.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay big time and will definitely recommend Kingston Townhouse to our friends.
Thank you!

What a beautiful find! We were so pleased with our stay here. The rooms are stunning and we found it hard to believe that they were not newly decorated as the standard of decorating and cleanliness is so high.
We received a very friendly welcome and booked in for the most fabulous pizza, it's an absolute must!
Whilst we were very happy and satisfied with breakfast, just to note for future guests there is no "fry up" available in the mornings.
We will 100% recommend Kingstons :-)

I travel a lot with work and often head into areas that I am not familiar with. After a long days travelling I was welcomed by the owner (Erwin) and immediately felt at home. A quick bag drop off in the room (which he carried) I was down in the bar with a Guinness in hand and locals welcoming me to the area.
The room was very modern, including the bathroom and comfot was at a high level. The breakfast was perfect for me, I’d class it as continental but I only really need a bowl of granola, fruit, croissant and coffee to see me on my way. They always had meats. Fresh salmon, cheeses etc.
The staff were exceptionally friendly. It went beyond a simple hello and you were always addressed you by your name so they obviously take their clients seriously.
I couldn’t recommend this place enough, sadly I may not be back in the area again soon but if I was this would be my first stop.

My Husband and I met up with a group of Friends in Kerry and we all checked into Kingston’s bar and townhouse. We were welcomed by Erwin and Aoife the amazing duo who are owners and running the venue with a very warm irish welcome. They provided much local knowledge about walks, mountain climbs and nice restaurants near by. The location is ideal for mountain climbers as it’s only 15 mins to car park to climb the stunning MacGillycuddy's Reeks mountain range. We enjoyed drinks and food in the bar the first evening which is a real irish bar experience. The staff were so friendly with a few comedians in the mix so hats off to the limerick Barman! The staff on table service were on top of their game and so attentive and cocktails were superb! Jimmy Gimlet cocktails were a winner! We had fresh homemade pizza from which was delicious! Would really love to see the menu extend overtime as would happily eat there over multiple evenings. The rooms were newly renovated and to a high standard so they were immaculate and bathroom especially the beautiful double shower was fabulous! I love they use eco friendly products and are environmentally conscious so huge plus! Our continental Breakfast was a real treat with lovely brown bread and other local produce and a fabulous local lady who took great care of us Highly recommend this location for groups!

Cannot speak highly enough of the staff and experience we had at Kingston’s. Erwin and Aoife are a credit to the hospitality industry with every aspect of our trip looked after and leaving no stone unturned when it came to our stay.
The rooms themselves are all excellent quality with the large showers being my personal highlight. The beds are soft and luxurious, making for a quality nights sleep, which is needed to explore this beautiful part of the country with several great beaches nearby as well as Carrauntoohill of course.
5/5 holiday and will definitely return again in the future.

Had a fantastic experience here last weekend. The standard of accommodation and friendly, warm service was second to none … rooms are spotless and of a very high standard, bathrooms luxurious and the beds are SO comfortable (even got the mattress make from the owner). Sampled a few cocktails in the bar - all freshly made and delicious. I’d highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone that is looking to stay in this area. Will certainly be back.

What a great destination! Really well designed and comfortable boutique hotel. The rooms are very high quality in terms of comfort and style. Have stayed in 5 star hotels in the area that are less inviting and comfortable. This is an outstanding option for something different right in the centre of the town. Not only that, the continental style breakfast is delicious , it is always a great signal when the owners recognise the importance of good quality ingredients and coffee. If you are reviewing options in Killorglin and the surrounding area, stop looking now and book this.

Stayed for 7 nights to enjoy the amazing natural beauty Kerry has. Erwin checked us in with a modern “covid” elbow welcome and couldn’t have been more helpful. The rooms are done off to a very high luxury standard including the bathrooms and very clean.
The location is the perfect area to travel to all the beauty spots, above is Dingle, and below is Killarney, and a great starting point for the ring of Kerry.
Due to covid we had to book our evening drinks in the bar, you do need to order food, due to gov. restrictions, with a variety of pizzas on offer and they are gorgeous!
If you book directly on their website you get breakfast included which is a lovely variety of local foods such as yogurt, granola, fruits, salmon, meats etc.

We had a fantastic experience at Kingston's Townhouse and would highly recommend to anyone traveling with young children. The family rooms were extremely spacious and my kids (ages 1, 5, and 7) loved the layout. We parked just down the road in a public lot, but it wasn't an issue dropping off bags or keeping our stroller in the lobby. The pizza in the pub is phenomenal. The hotel staff were all very welcoming and friendly.
