I stayed here with a friend for a weekend yoga retreat. It was amazing value for money, especially given the standard of the delicious home cooked food, kind and welcoming hosts and beautiful, comfortable decor in the accommodation.

We were late arriving on Friday evening due to a crash on the way. Louise, the host and centre owner came out to greet us and bring us in to a meditation which had just started with a very warm and genuine smile. She had saved us dinner which we ate after an incredibly relaxing meditation on huge soft mattresses in the yoga and meditation studio. This is a very relaxing space with beautiful colourful decor. The stress of the journey faded away after this lovely meditation and the food was so tasty and nourishing, as was all the food all weekend.

We had two yoga classes the next morning (Saturday), an iyengar and more vinyasa flow type one, another meditation that night (with lovely weighted blankets for deep relaxation) and an aerial yoga class with Louise on Sunday morning. We had some time off to explore the area on Saturday afternoon and I booked a lomi lomi massage during this time which was gorgeous. The surrounding area is very picturesque and the gardens and building of Aloha House are so nicely aspected and beautifully decorated. You can tell that a lot of work and love have gone into this space. The owners' very sweet children cleared the table after one of the meals.

I went home very relaxed after having had a variety of lovely activities and meals, company of the teachers, centre owners and other people on the retreat. I would highly recommend this place for a beautiful and relaxing getaway break.

I have just returned home from the most wonderful Lomi Lomi training with Louise Kleu in Aloha House, Killorglin Co. Kerry.
From the moment you enter the property you know that this is a very special place, it’s beautiful location is enough to tell you that. You could spend the day alone just watching the changing aspect of the river, sky and mountains. It is absolutely mesmerizing.
When you enter the house the internal decoration and colour captures you completely. You will also receive a warm and genuine welcome from Louise, Brian and their two wonderful boys. It is a privilege to stay in their home.
Louise is a fantastic teacher, with an ability to demonstrate and instruct in a clear and insightful manner. You can feel for passion for what she is teaching, whether it is Lomi Lomi, Yoga or other. She holds the space with such positive energy and safety.
The accommodation is comfortable and the vegetation food provided is some of the best I have tasted. Even those attending the course, who were not vegetarian, were requesting Louise and Brian’s recipes .
If you are looking for a break away from the stresses of life then you could not do better than attend a course or simply stay at Aloha House.

Myself and my husband attended a yoga retreat in the haven that is Aloha House. From the minute we entered Aloha we were made feel welcome and at home . I loved each piece of interior design from roof to floor..the views from each room were beautiful. Aloha = tranquillity

We attended a three day retreat . My husband had never participated in yoga before and was made feel so very welcome from both hosts and external instructors. Louise has a warmth and sincerity that is motivational and encouraging in her meditations and practises

As part of our retreat we had vegetarian meals included, neither of us are vegetarian, yet our minds and taste buds experienced some of the nicest food we have had in a long time, possibly ever! the food served is over and above restaurant standard. Brian is not only a wonderful host but an amazing chef!

Aloha is perfectly located , nestled a 2 minute stroll from the town centre yet you feel like you are away from it all where it is situated off road and by a river .

Aloha we will return and thank you for such wonderful hospitality and memories

I travelled as a solo traveller. Such a sense of calm and love in Aloha House from the second you arrive. Louise and Brien are so warm and peaceful to be around. The house itself has wonderful smells, views and cosy seating areas to snuggle up with a book overlooking the river and forest. Food was delicious and so tasty! Smoothies, homemade soups and bread, lettuce wraps, butternut squash risotto and aubergine lasagne. Vegan options available too and Brian was very happy to work around any dietary requirements. Lomi Lomi massage was the best massage I have ever received. The yoga, aerial yoga, Kambal yoga, sound healing and pilates was delivered with fluidity and encouragement to all levels. I have come away from this weekend in Aloha House feeling like I have found how to breathe again, renergised, healed and full of love for myself and the wonderful world around me! I could not stop smiling all the way back to Mayo in the car. I am so grateful and thankful to Louise and Brien for the opportunity to spend the weekend in their little oasis. It has changed the direction my life was taking for the better and I look forward to going back in the future. I have taken a little bit of their warmth, serenity and peace with me from the weekend! It has honestly opened my heart again. Namaste. ❤️

I have stayed at Aloha House a number of times for Lomi Lomi retreats. I always have a wonderful time. Louise is a wise and gifted teacher and I feel very blessed to learn from her. Both herself, Brian and family are welcoming, friendly and exceptional hosts. The rooms are comfortable and spotless and the food is amazing. It is a beautiful space in a stunning setting overlooking the river and with a view of the mountains. Each time I stay there, I leave feeling a renewed sense of peace and calm. I cannot wait to go back!
Highly recommended. Caroline 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This was my second visit to Aloha House and equally as magical as the first.
Louise and Brian are wonderful hosts and most warm & welcoming.

The accommodation, classes, meditations, treatments, & vegetarian food are first class.

Beautiful beaches & river walk on the doorstep.
Would highly recommend a trip, already looking forward to my next visit.

Ideal for solo travellers, friends and couples alike.
If you need to rest, reset or recharge, treat yourself to a weekend at AH, you won’t regret it ❤️🌺🧘‍♀️☀️🌊🏞
