Really lovely family run b&b, our stay was really relaxing being form the city the location suited perfectly as we could just roam through the country away from everything and visit the nearby town of Ennis for food and drinks when we wanted some interaction. We got a great deal and breakfast was lovely although why grapefruit juice was an...

We stayed here in August 2013. (TripAdvisor drop down calendar only goes back to May 2014). Having started making TripAdvisor reviews, I feel moved to put in a retrospective review. This was one of the best hotels that I've stayed in. The whole experience was excellent - room, views, bar, restaurant. Staff attentive and friendly. Superb location.

We spent a wonderful weekend in this fabulous country house. Our bedroom, "The Orchard" room was so comfortable and stylish with a super king size four poster bed. We were made feel so welcome and enjoyed cuisine to die for. The house is full of character and charm. We certainly recommend Carrygarry house for a special treat. It's location is...

We returned to Carrygerry for the second time last night. I was a little worried that the second trip may not have been as great as the first but I think it was even better. Everything about this hotel is fabulous. The food deserves a special mention though, wonderful tasty special is how I would describe our meal.

This was our first stop in Ireland on our honeymoon. Our flight arrived early and we were not suppose to check in until the afternoon but Gillian let us check in early so we could nap and try to help our jet lag. She also fed us some breakfast as well even though she didn't know we would be there....

My wife and I came for a meal here with some family early on a Saturday evening. The house and grounds are a throw back to more genteel time and created a lovely atmosphere. We had a drink in a high ceilinged room with lots of antique furnishings and ordered our meals and some wine. After a short wait we...

We are just back from a weekend break at Carrygerry house. From arrival to departure the service was excellent, food superb ( more later). Upon arrival we were greeted by Gillian (owner ) offered coffee and homemade biscuits. Unfortunately are rooms were not in the main house but in the courtyard, however they were well equipped, clean with a good...

We have just stayed in carrygerry house. The welcome we received was second to none. Next surprise was our room which was old worldy but lovely. Felt like gentry with four poster bed. Breakfast both mornings was lovely freshly cooked and a good choice. The owners could not have been more helpful while we were there. We'll worth a visit...

My wife and I ended our trip to Ireland with a nights stay at the Carrygerry Country House in Newmarker-on-fergus. You are close enought to see the planes approaching, but a world awayt at a country manor surrounded by farms with horses running in the field right outside the front door. A wonderful welcome, a large comfortable room full of...

This is a family run accommodation. As such, you'll see people scurrying around working hard to make your stay a pleasure. I loved how we had our dinner order taken in the parlor in front of the fireplace as we sipped a cocktail. When we were called to our table, food came out promptly and it was splendid! We had...
