Stayed over in Clifden for one night and so happy that we got a room in Kingstown House. Regina was so welcoming and friendly and made sure we were happy with our room and gave us recommendations for the evening in Clifden. They worked well - great local advice! The full Irish breakfast was welcomed the next morning. Lovely clean...

What a wonderful place to stay overnight! It's close to everything, we had a nice view out of the window on a quiet backyard, the room was very well equipped, the breakfast was delicious and the hosts are just lovely! Thanks for everything!

We recently stayed at Kingstown House for two nights. Regina was a LOVELY host! Their house is warm and inviting and they have a gift for making you feel right at home. The rooms (we stayed in a family room) are spotless and roomy. The homemade breakfast was delicious. Regina was a great host and we felt like we were...

Traveling through town I had an urgent need for a bathroom. The hosts of this B&B were gracious enough to walk me up to a vacant guest room and let me have its use. Such kindness speaks volumes of the character-- doing something for no immediate (and likely no future) gain for a stranger in need. Of course if I...

We enjoyed our two-night stay at Kingstown House, which offers the perfect base for touring the area. Wish we could have stayed longer. Its location in town offers easy walking distance to pubs, restaurants, and shops. The room was on the small side, but very clean, cozy, and comfortable. Regina makes a delicious hot Irish breakfast on order, plus yummy...

Thank you taking the time to review and for your very complimentary comments! We're probably biased, but Clifden is a fabulous place to base yourself to experience the wonderment of Connemara. As you point out, everything is within walking distance and yet just a short drive from the picturesque Connemara landscapes, National Park, Wild Atlantic Way, Sky Road and much...

The Kingstown House was absolutely perfect for my fiancee's and my trip to Clifden! We explored quite a bit around the area and found Regina and Jim were so accommodating with earlier breakfasts for us! A bonus was the great breakfast-the food was fresh, delicious and hearty. The B&B itself is a dream-a total sense of calm and relaxation throughout....

We have just enjoyed a two night stay with our two young children at Kingstown House. Regina and Jim are fantastic hosts and were so helpful with our children, recommendations on where to eat etc. We stayed in the family room which had plenty of room for the four of us. The room was well appointed, comfy and clean. Breakfast...

If you travel to Ireland then you'll quickly realize how amazing the people are. Amongst all the nice people we met while traveling in Ireland, Regina and Jim were the nicest! The rooms are simple. They are exactly what you need: Bathroom, comfy beds and hot showers. The common area is cozy with comfy couches, TV and a fire place....

We had a lovely two-night stay at the Kingstown House. Hosts Regina and Jim could not have been more pleasant or accommodating. From our pre-visit emails to our reluctant goodbyes, they bent over backwards to ensure a great stay, which far exceeded our expectations.
