Beautiful location, large characterful rooms, lovely gardens, great breakfast. All at an unbelievably reasonable price. Kathleen and Siobhan are so welcoming and couldn't have done more to make our stay perfect. I would like to move here.

Lovely country home in quiet wooded area. Really lovely, spacious rooms and nice bathroom amenities. Our room overlooked a beautiful garden. Feels like you've been taken back in time to a gracious estate. Breakfast was delicious and Kathleen and her daughter couldn't have been more gracious hosts. Our only difficulty was the Wifi in the room was not reliable, so...

We very recently stayed at the Mallmore Country House B&B in Clifden. We stayed in a total of 5 different places on our trip, ranging from a thatched cottage in Donegal to an 18th century manor house in Mayo. Mallmore was the best of all of them and the only place I am sure we will return to for another...

A wonderful house hidden after a wood with a view on Clifden bay; big beautiful room, very pleasant fire room to stay, lovely garden and very kind staff; very good breakfast: it is a really amazing place, perfect to visit the area or to rest inside for a while.

We stayed one night at Mallmore and wish it could have been more. Nestled across a tidal inlet from Clifden town it was the perfect place to unwind after a busy few days. Full of history, and with lots of original features, it was like stepping back in time. Our room was large and comfortable, with a nice en-suite and...

Wonderful grounds and public areas at Mallmore Country House. Breakfast was very nice and hosts were most helpful in advice about where to go and what to see while in the area. Only downside was a need for heavier curtains on our room to block to porchlight.

Without a doubt, the best B&B I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. A stately historic house, lovingly restored, tasteful and lavishly decorated by Alan and Kathleen. Our one night of luxury was far too short but how memorable it was. Our large room had a large bay window overlooking beautiful grounds and the walk through the grounds...

I think we shall have to start leaving bad reviews of Mallmore, because we could only book in for one of the two nights we wanted this year! But it is simply not possible to say anything but 'bravo!' to everyone. The rooms are very comfortable, the breakfasts legendary and the kindness and helpfulness of the host and hostesses is...

We absolutely loved everything about Mallmore -- the hosts, the location, the rooms, the breakfast -- all first class. The house itself is historic and perfectly maintained. Rooms are spacious with high ceilings and lovely furnishings. Our room had a queen and two twin beds with a comfortable sitting area and a huge window looking out to the bay. Really...
