This place is unique and very special. The photos do the property justice - but the friendly welcome, lovely position and ambiance of this unique B&B will make it a highlight for local Irish or international visitors.

Gorgeous place. Fascinating decor, a room i could happily spend a week in, phenomenal breakfast and amazing hospitality from 2 lovely hosts Paddy and Julia. Will be back. Clifden is also a lovely buzzy town surrounded by spectacular countryside.

The Quay House was simply amazing, and we cannot recommend this wonderful B&B enough. The owners, Paddy & Julia, were so accommodating going above and beyond with any requests and they felt more like old friends than people we had just met. Their home, which was our home for the 3 days we were there, was just stunning and very...

We spent 3 nights at the quay house. It was absolutely beautiful, enriched with French antique furnishing and artworks, yet, it was not stuffy . In fact, it was quite eclectic. Many taxidermy antlers around, coupled with Buddha heads. Our room (4) overlooked the harbor and came with a small kitchen. The seagulls looked forward to being fed each morning...

Best place ever for accommodation in Connemara. Both the house and the family running it are amazing. Top-notch quality in every aspect. Charming decor, loverly place for breakfast (incredible breakfast, btw!), awesome views over the port, perfect location just ten minutes walking from the city center, warming welcome. What else you can ask for? We will return for sure.

The rooms were very clean and decorated with a lot of attention to detail. Julia and Paddy Foyle and their staff were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was...

Paddy and Julia are to be congratulated. Rooms full of character. 2 pugs cute as. Gourmet Breakfast is one of the best in Ireland. Town is friendly and all restaurants visited are all 5 star. Well done. Quiet part of town and short walk to town. Fishing boats coming and going added to the romance.

We were so pleased to come to this establishment. We were welcomed by Julia Foyle. A lovely, charming lady. Our room was unique - with a lovely four poster bed, over looking the harbour. The room was well laid out - but what we noticed was we could not hear a thing!!! Bliss!! No overhead footsteps - amazing. Simple things...

Character house featuring great views over the inlet and a pair of friendly pugs as well as a lovely breakfast in the solarium. Rooms are all unique and we were upgraded gratis to the lavis Napoleon room with its turret balcony and multiple sitting areas as the Inn was not full. Easy and pleasant walk to the action of town...
