The location was good, easy walk down the hill and into downtown for supper. Good wifi, the only negatives, room we had was a bit small, but it only had a single bed, most of the other rooms were larger and more beds. The young fellow who met us, well you could tell this was mom's operation, not his, quick...

Very comfortable, homely bed and breakfast with the most welcoming wee lady , Mary so friendly and welcoming who gives her all. The farmhouse is a short walk from Clifdens centre where there is a good selection of eating places and good music around even at of peak times.

It isn't the first time we have stayed here, and it won't be the last. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. Beautiful location, although a bit of a climb up the hill!! Nice rooms, excellent breakfast, and excellent internet connection. A place where you feel right at home.

The salmon and eggs and porridge were sooooo good. We truly enjoyed chatting with Mary, also. It was very quiet and a convenient location for a short walk into town. We did drive and had no problem finding a parking place in town. Great pubs and music!

Mary ist a great host. We got tea and coffee after checking in. She gave us good advices where to go and what to do in this area. The room was clean and friendly, the bed was comfortable. Fast WiFi! Just a couple of minutes walk to town centre. We enjoyed our stay!

We called late in the day, and were so happy to land in this lovely, homey B & B. Mary welcomed us, served us tea and coffee with biscuits and made us feel right at home. She had lots of info about local sights to see and made good recommendations about where to go for food and music, and very...

Spent 1 night at Clifden Farmhouse. Mary was a very gracious host. We did not have a reservation and just made a last minute phone call to see if she had a room available. The room was cozy, clean and comfortable. Mary had a breakfast table set up with coffee, juice, fruit, cereal and toast and also prepared us a...

Marys place is wonderful- and she herself is simply to kind. We had the goat room at the end, loved it! Nice and spacious, big washroom and ample area to stow away stuff. We only stayed a night but very much enjoyed ourselves. A comfortable stay if ever there was one. Breakfast was grand also, but make sure to get...

We stayed for 2 nights in this great B&B. Beautiful view, nice (mad or happy) dog Sheeba, great breakfast and a wonderful Mary who cares after everything! Ideal for exploring the area or Clifden even at night. Situated in quiet landscape though just a five minute's walk into town (no problem having a pint or some and guessing how to...

We found Marys B&B through recommendation from her sister in law at "all the twos" guesthouse up the road. For a good old fashioned (in the best sense of the term) B&B experience, Clifden Farmhouse offers a warm welcome, comfortable bed and a tasty breakfast. It does exactly what it says on the tin. Mary is delightful, warm and chatty...

“The house is on a private dead end street so there is no traffic past this house, thus it is very quiet. It is very close to Clifden, a mere 10 minute walk. Thus, you can walk to town, have a pint or two after suppah, and not have to worry about driving. Don't miss touring the nearby Sky Road; it has fantastic views.”
