John welcomed us and carried our bags down through the beautiful grounds to the garden cottage. It was beautifully laid out and had a wonderful view of the harbor. He graciously drove us down into town at dinnertime and recommended a wonderful restaurant. The next morning he and his staff made us a delicious breakfast. This was a top-notch experience...

We stayed here for 1 night. John, the host, and his dog were very friendly! Breakfast was delicious and lovingly prepared. Room was clean, but very, very cold. We asked John to turn the heat up and he did, but it was still very chilly. The views were amazing and John had an abundance of local knowledge to share! Couldn't...

Rockland House B&B is a 15 to 20 minute walk from the pretty town of Kinsale but definitely worth the effort. A beautiful house sitting up over the river with amazing views. John was a delightful host and he crafted a spectacular breakfast each morning. We stayed three nights and couldn't have been happier with our choice.

We spent one night at Rockland's house on a multi-way B&B tour of Ireland in March 2017. The tourist season had just opened as we arrived on St. Patrick's Day. The Rockland's house is stunning. It is located above the town of Kinsale and provides fantastic views of the area. The rooms are very comfortable with bathrooms inside each one....

Really enjoyed this place. It was our first Ireland B&B and turned out to be the best. Easy walk to town and a pleasant host. The room was quite comfortable and the breakfast was great. Beautiful views from the guest lounge. I'd stay here again.
