First class hotel. Room and hotel were very fresh, modern and extremely clean. The room we had was fab with 180 degree views of the bay. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was lovely with both cold buffet and a wide choice of hot freshly prepared meals. Location is great, just 5 minutes walk from the centre of the town. No leasure facilities on site but can use the pool and gym from their sister hotel 2 minutes walk away. Can highly recommend

Have been meaning to write a review about the Trident Hotel Kinsale for a while now. I regularly stay here on business and also have stayed many times with my wife and friends on weekends away. Having given it a lot of thought I actually think it’s my favourite hotel in Ireland. It ticks so many boxes. The staff are fantastic from Peter in reception right through to breakfast. It’s right on the water and a 5 min walk to some of the best bars and restaurants in the country. The views are stunning and the food in the bar is excellent. All in all it meets all my requirements from a hotel and I would highly recommend the Trident for business and leisure breaks.

Outstanding Hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We were there off-season (January) and experienced a well-run, beautiful hotel, lovely staff and a convenient location in which we could walk everywhere, yet weren't in a noisy area. Very generous breakfast and delicious food in the bar (the main dining room was closed, given the winter season). Highly recommend.

What an amazing break and hotel! The hotel and staff were just wonderful from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we received the warmest welcome - check in was seamless and once we saw the room and view our jaws dropped. The hotel and rooms were incredibly clean and tidy. The bed has to be one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in. And what a view from the bed to wake up to - picture attached. The food and staff in the bar, were incredible. Breakfast was fabulous the next day, the selection was amazing and having your breakfast while overlooking the sea made it even more enjoyable. The hotel location is excellent with walking distance into the town. Wonderfully run hotel and extremely well managed. Looking forward to our next stay :-)

My husband and I went to stay at the trident in Kinsale in December and honestly what a fabulous place. The staff were amazing and so attentive, the management were second to none. They were so friendly and helpful. The place is spotless and the service is beyond brilliant. The food is remarkable and the accommodation is brilliant. This has been the best place I have ever stayed in and the best service I have ever received. I have traveled to many places but this has set the bar. I can’t believe a place so amazing exists. I would recommend anyone to go to the Trident and get a feel of what true class service, staff and management are like. This is one of the best places I have ever been to. Do yourself a favour and go. I promise it’s worth it. Amazing!!!

Overall staying at the Trident was just disappointing as it is advertised as a 4 star luxury property but it is not or at least is no longer a luxury property. While they advertise parking it is extremely limited and likely you will be given a map to help you find street parking…. As well the rooms are not clean our blinds had debris all over them and the shower barely drained. The public space also shows signs of not just wear but neglect. If you do decide to stay and have an issue don’t bother with reception they blew me off. I did contact the GM who responded with a fairly standard apology and acknowledgement that the hotel is below standards.

We were in the Trident hotel for a small family birthday celebration. Everyone ordered their buttermilk chicken burger and everyone was more than satisfied, they were delicious. The staff were very pleasant and they offered a wide range of deserts on their menu. Would highly recommend for a family or couples night.
