Lovely B&B with warm and welcoming service from Maeve. She was kind enough to post my favourite shirt to me after I had left it behind. I appreciated her extra effort, time and expense. Not many would do that for you these days. The breakfast was delicious too. Thanks, Maeve!

I experienced the warmest of welcomes from Maeve which was the perfect start to a week's stay of both business and pleasure. My room was clean and comfortable, the breakfasts were very good and the location was spot on. Enough distance to be a short walk away from the delightful town and a short drive to explore the Wild Atlantic...

Maeve is great. Very friendly and easy to chat to. Our room was clean and comfortable with no view to speak of but we didn't care and we'd only booked one night anyway. The location is great. Very close to the town centre. You have you're key in your pocket and off you go. Macliam Lodge has a nice, relaxed...

John and Maeve made the 4 of us feel very welcome and have a guest house that is of a high standard and in a good location with around a 10 minute walk into the centre. They asked us to park our motor cycles around the rear of the property which provided a very safe and secure location well out...

Owners John and Maeve gave us a warm welcome and we had an excellent family room for four and a very good breakfast. Nearby there are the magnificent East and West beaches at Inchydonney Island ideal for walks, swimming and surfing.

We managed to get the last room in Clonakilty during our stay there. Meabh was lovely and we stayed in a large room, detached from the main house. Spotlessly clean and quiet. Not far from the town and we were able to walk in for dinner. Clonakilty is a really friendly and beautiful town, steeped in history. Would recommend to...

Stayed here recently for one night and must say it was top class. Rates were very reasonable for July , rooms were very comfortable and breakfast was great. Owners couldn't have been more helpful even offering us a spin to the wedding we were attending. Really great atmosphere in this B&B and will definitely return when in the area again.

We stayed here on Thursday 21st July 2016, Maeve was very welcoming and we had the large room detached from the house at the back, so it was lovely and quiet with our own key to come and go as we pleased and an ensuite. We wandered into town for some tea, Clonakilty town is lovely, in the morning we...
