Myself and my husband stayed here for two nights a couple of weekends ago. We really enjoyed it. We stayed in a room at the front of the house with great views. We enjoyed tasting the cider and brandy. And even though it was May, the roaring fire was lovely to sit beside. The orchards were in full bloom and...

From the one mile drive off the main road to the moment that massive Georgian front door opened and we walked into the sumptuous hallway, we knew this would be a good weekend. This is not some stately pile owned by a faceless conglomerate preserved in aspic but a living working estate with a wonderful and genuine olde world atmosphere...

On a May bank holiday that seemed more like October, howling winds and pouring rain, Longueville House provided the perfect shelter from the storm. Roaring fires, comfy chairs, spacious bedrooms, cosy corners; all combined to create a wonderful relaxing ambiance. Highlights of the culinary delights on offer included the scones, home reared ham, and lentil spring rolls among others too...

I think if you are going here Sunday lunch is best - afternoon tea is only ok and dinner can be hit and miss as they have quite a limited menu and it all gets a bit stuffy. They also need to get better coffee, tasted like instant granules. Staff are pleasant and don't fuss too much which is good...

Just back from a nights stay in longville house . I cannot say enough about this place . It is a home away from home . From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. The owner was very welcoming . The rooms were extremely comfortable. We ate a seven course dinner in the presidents room and this meal...

Went for Afternoon Tea with Family and Friends. The afternoon Tea was nice the staff were nice .The House is neglected and tired ...My opinion Francis Brennan the retired Hotelier would need to visit to help give this lovely house a complete makeover ..Its badly laid out for Afternoon Tea chairs are dated and all the fires should have been lighting...

We had an excellent stay at the Longueville House. I want to recognize Debbie especially since I spoke with her multiple times before even arriving. She helped make arrangements for our toddler, dogs and dinner. We enjoyed an amazing afternoon tea as soon as we arrived. The staff was helpful and patient with us as our toddler discovered the toys...

Spent two nights here and what an absolute delightful and hedonistic experience. The house is an old Irish jem, beautifully and lovingly maintained. The public rooms are comfortable, warm and welcoming; the main drawing room is beautifully furnished, the focal point being a magnificent fireplace with a roaring wood fire. Our bedroom was large, warm and, thankfully, without a television....
