I'd certainly recommend the Island View Hotel if you're looking to stay in Malahide, especially if you are on a budget. We stayed just for one night, the room cost €90 and was comfortable and clean. The hotel serves food and whilst we didn't eat there it seemed pretty busy with diners so that is probably a good sign. 5-10...

My family and I recently stayed in the hotel. From the outside it looks a bit run down and unloved, certainly when you arrived into the hotel the decor did show this. Really in need of an upgrade. The hotel has a lift that is operated by staff only. We had two small children so were frequently asking for the...

This isnt the most plush of places we have stayed but it certainly done the job. Really good location within walking distance of Malahide. Our room was clean and quiet with the usual accompaniments tea coffee etc. The bar area is good and the music at the weekend was very good. We didnt eat here but the breakfast was good...

Lovely wee nook in Malahide. Arrived through the spacious bar to the reception area, where the barman will give you your key. Rooms good size , lovely bed and separate shower room. Breakfast served in upstairs restaurant overlooking the bay by a lovely lady who was very helpful. Tasty breakfast. Ate in the restaurant for their buffet lunch. My husband...

Checked in around midnight as we had an early morning flight from dublin and stayed for easiness. The place is basically a bar/restaurant with rooms. Our room had 2 single beds with a small bathroom. The window handle was ready to fall off and some cosmetic touch ups were needed but the room was clean. The view out of the...

We stayed for a short break and didn't want to pay too much so plumped for this hotel. You basically got what you paid for. Room was clean with a nice big bed, tea and coffee and a little fridge. The furnishings were worn but fine. The only thing I would advise is don't have the breakfast, it was very...

Two of us stayed here while on a flying trip to Malahide. Despite notifying them of our arrival time, there was no-one on reception, and we had to go into the bar from where a staff member was summoned. The same happened when we were checking out. This is more of a pub-restaurant with rooms than a hotel. The room...

As I only needed a place to sleep it didn't really matter how or where the location was. Very basic , not too clean . If could use some new bathrooms . The main light controlled all the lights in the form , which I found a bit frustrating . There was a kettle and some tea , coffee and...
