So glad we chose Belleek as our castle stay while travelling around Ireland. We were given the honeymoon suite- very spacious, good bathroom and a 4 poster bed. We had the 5 course dinner and the food was exceptional. Breakfast was also very good. Wifi was very slow but we expected this. Plenty of walks nearby.

Beautiful historic home on the outskirts of Ballina. An authentic castle experience with an amazing breakfast experience. Super views over the grounds and walks in the gardens. Castle is well signposted on arrival in Ballina with several streetsigns. WIFI a bit hit and miss but no big deal.

Initially driving up to the castle it is quite a stunning building and even when you go inside to the main reception area it's still very impressive. The adjoining woods and walks by the castle are also very picturesque and used by a large number of the local community. Unfortunately once we got to our room inside the castle, all...

Stayed two nights in the Castle, with a view out the Bay window of our bedroom overlooking the beautiful front lawn and had a very comfortable 4 poster bed! We ate in the quirky Restaurant, having the 'early bird' menu, which was delicious and then retired to the big open fire in lounge for a nightcap. All the staff were...

Love this place. The staff are great and always make you feel welcome. The food is superb, the rooms are spacious and tasteful. The interior of the castle is unlike anywhere else, the various rooms created from old shipwrecks etc. The place has real character and class while retaining it's charm and without being pretentious. Highly recommend for a stay,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Belleek Castle....... an iconic Irish Country House, restaurant (AA 2 Rosettes), hotel and spectacular wedding venue…Belleek is unpretentious, cosy and friendly, rich in decor and antiquities, with open log fires to warm your steps back through this cultural adventure.Enjoy a contemporary dinner, with generous portions, in our unique light panelled dining room. We have developed a new food philosophy. Our spirit is to search for more “Depth of Flavour”, exercising both classic and imaginative cooking techniques. We use seasonal ingredients and produce, selected from the land, sea and air of Mayo, and combine these with the traditions of the Castle. However, our signature dish is a Castle classic, the "Drunken Bullock", a filet steak flambéed at the table and served flaming from a sword, adding theatre to succulent steak. Hand made oak tables, eclectic romantic music, lit by candlelight, with charming attention and delicious food.“One of the most atmospheric and delightful dining experiences in Ireland”, Bill Gooch, Virginia Beach.Guests may enjoy a private viewing of the Castle museum by appointment. Belleek Castle hosts The Marshall Doran Collection, the finest collection of mediaeval armour and Jurassic fossils in Ireland. How many times have I heard? “Oh my God!” or “Oh Gosh!”Belleek Castle...
