Went for a family dinner here with 11 of us. Even though the place was packed including a wedding, the staff were as attentive as if we were the guests of honor. Superb food, good wine list and and excellent welcome. The venue itself is spectacular and as authentic as it gets. Definitely would recommend. My only complaint was a...

Stayed here on a short midweek break. Food is top class without being pretentious & service is excellent.Breakfast is served fresh from the kitchen. We opted for a room upgrade and this was well worth the money. Staff are friendly and helpful but not aloof as is the case in many establishments of this type. The castle is very private and...

Seldom are you transported back in time in a hotel these days but that is exactly what happens when you go through the castle gates at Belleek. Driving through its own forest the castle stands high in a clearing and is very imposing. Enter the foyer and you are instantly transported back some 400 years to an Ireland long forgotten...

Incredible place to stay - friends had their wedding here and the it served as a brilliant backdrop to a great weekend. We had the eight course Gourmet Menu which was fine dining at its best - once you have a fillet steak flambéed at your table on a 15th century Spanish Armada Conquistador Swords, you'll never look at a...

I live 30 miles from Belleek Castle and to my regret I never stepped foot on the grounds until last Saturday evening, the location, the host on arrival, the integrity of the castle, the staff, the curator, the surroundings, the atmosphere, the meal, the after meal tour, it was all superb and I will be returning again very soon! Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Belleek Castle....... an iconic Irish Country House, restaurant (AA 2 Rosettes), hotel and spectacular wedding venue…Belleek is unpretentious, cosy and friendly, rich in decor and antiquities, with open log fires to warm your steps back through this cultural adventure.Enjoy a contemporary dinner, with generous portions, in our unique light panelled dining room. We have developed a new food philosophy. Our spirit is to search for more “Depth of Flavour”, exercising both classic and imaginative cooking techniques. We use seasonal ingredients and produce, selected from the land, sea and air of Mayo, and combine these with the traditions of the Castle. However, our signature dish is a Castle classic, the "Drunken Bullock", a filet steak flambéed at the table and served flaming from a sword, adding theatre to succulent steak. Hand made oak tables, eclectic romantic music, lit by candlelight, with charming attention and delicious food.“One of the most atmospheric and delightful dining experiences in Ireland”, Bill Gooch, Virginia Beach.Guests may enjoy a private viewing of the Castle museum by appointment. Belleek Castle hosts The Marshall Doran Collection, the finest collection of mediaeval armour and Jurassic fossils in Ireland. How many times have I heard? “Oh my God!” or “Oh Gosh!”Belleek Castle...
