For a family occasion a group of us from Dublin ventured down to Ballina over Christmas 2014. We stayed in Ashleam House, which was a real treasure. The room was so clean, with great power shower and en-suite bathroom - perfect! The lovely warm hospitable welcome was so refreshing as this is a super rare treat to get. The location...

I stayed with Helen and Jim for one night, while attending a wedding in Mount Falcon. The friendliness, cleanliness and warm welcome left a good impression. It was like being in a home away from home! Breakfast was perfect, the poached eggs were wow! When I commented on them, Helen gave me some to take home- away above and beyond...

They could not do enough for us, cups of tea, heating on any time it was needed. We were driven to the local Hotel (we had travelled by public transport) so that we could...

The rooms were really cosy and spotless, breakfast exactly what the doctor ordered and the owners Helen and Jim were so welcoming. It's close proximity to mount falcon was perfect for what we needed. I had meant to write...

Stayed at this lovely B & B for a friend's wedding which was held at Mount Falcon Hotel. B & B run by Helen and Jim was very convenient to the wedding reception hotel. Nothing too much trouble for these lovely hosts, making hair dressing appointments, tea and coffee as needed and even taking guests to the hairdressers as required....
