I don't think I have ever come across an establishment on Tripadvisor that has elicited such unqualified praise as has Castlewood House but having just spent 3 nights there, I can now understand why this is so.
No need to repeat the many, many accolades...More
We spent 2 enjoyable nights at Castlewood. Brian and Helen make every effort to make sure the guests are happy and well looked after in their quite new, purpose built BandB. The rooms are well designed and comfortable, ours had good views over the water....More
Absolutley nothing negative to say about this stay. It was the highlight of our overnight stays in Ireland. Brian, Helen and the staff were wonderful. The breakfast was unbelievably good. Our room was huge and we could see the bay from our room. We asked...More
I can only echo what everyone says about Castlewood. Superb. I try to reach for adjectives to do it justice. They have thought of everything to make you comfortable and never want to leave. Very convenient walk into town, near the music and shopping. Good...More

Dingle is a fun town for children and they are allowed in pubs to hear music. Murphy's ice Cream, Dingle Aquarium, pottery workshop, fishing in bay - see Fungi the wild dolphin, historic and tour attractions out west on Slea Head Drive, beautiful beaches for picnic lunch. Dingle Crystal workshop is awesome, owner Sean is master glass artist and rides very cool Harley Motorcycles.
Enjoy Dingle! Ellen
