Castlewood House is located on the sea front some 350 metres west of the harbour and marina. The atmosphere is warm, cosy and welcoming in this well-presented, spotlessly-clean, boutique hotel. Helen was on hand to welcome us with the offer of a glass of prosecco or a hot drink. The rooms are immaculate with jacuzzi bath and walk-in shower in...

My wife and I have stayed here on our last 5 trips to Ireland. It is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in! Beautifully appointed rooms, all of the amenities, great location, and a fantastic staff eager to support your every need. This award winning hotel is certainly the best that Ireland has to offer. Fantastic! We will return and this was by far one of our favorite towns and accommodations. It's beautifully decorated, easy to feel right at home, and clean. Brian was most welcoming upon our arrival and couldn't have been what others have already stated more gracious. Cannot say enough about this spot. The room overlooked the bay, had water, coffee and...

In planning our trip, we sent various questions to Helen regarding the property as well as acidities and tours around town. She was so incredibly gracious, responding to all our questions so quickly and offering up such helpful information. Thank you so much, Helen! Best wishes!

I'm glad that Castlewood House was almost the last place we stayed, since it would have spoiled me for anywhere else! And we stayed in some lovely places. I have only one regret about Castlewood House and it's that we didn't stay longer. Our two nights at Castlewood House were lovely in every possible way. They've thought of everything. The...

Loved our stay! Helen and Brian are wonderful! The food was fantastic and the view was perfect. Short walk to pubs and restaurants. The rooms I could live in forever! Great feel and would love to go back! Truly a gem!

We, regrettably, only had one night to stay here but it was really lovely. The hotel itself is super clean, beautifully decorated and perfectly situated overlooking Dingle Bay (very close to Dingle distillery, which runs interesting tours for 10 euro). The owners are lovely, Brian welcomed us on arrival and we met Helen the following morning at breakfast. Our room...

Having stayed here once before I booked our St Patrick's Day stay as a birthday present for my partner. We arrived after lunch on a very wet and windy day. I had recently been injured so we had decided to take it easy and relax in our hotel for a change. From the moment we checked in we were able...
