Our home away from home in Dingle. We have visited nearly every year since Helen and Brian have opened the Castlewood House. A great walk into Dingle, sitting in the bay. Greatest pancakes and breakfast. Warm and quiet guest lounge for tea of glass of wine. Rooms are

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Castlewood House. Lovely room, great breakfast and walking distance to Dingle town centre. We especially loved the sitting room where you could sit and enjoy a night cap after a meal in Doyle's Seafood restaurant. Highly recommend and would

Stayed for two nights! The most welcoming and helpful staff I've ever met! Breakfast was 5 star so much to choose from! Rooms were massive, a shower and a jacuzzi bath in the bathroom and so clean! Exceptional! We can't remember the name of the lady who checked us in and served

Castlewood was one of five places that we stayed during our incredible week-long trip in Ireland, and we both agreed that it was by far our favorite place to stay out of all of them. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and treated like family. Brian had fresh

I don’t think there was one, but I totally agree with Anne L. I’m sure they would help you find one.

I am not able to walk far. Is there taxi service for transport into town?
The hotel is about a bit of a walk to town, there are taxi services available and the hotel can arrange them for you.

Best to email Helen and Brian asap to discuss dates, I think Castlewood has 14 rooms some with double beds. There is free car parking in front and hotel is conveniently located 10 minute walk into town. Elevator in house but there are a few steps up to front door and inside foyer. Dingle is a fun town for children and they are allowed in pubs to hear music. Murphy's ice Cream, Dingle Aquarium, pottery workshop, fishing in bay - see Fungi the wild dolphin, historic and tour attractions out west on Slea Head Drive, beautiful beaches for picnic lunch. Dingle Crystal workshop is awesome, owner Sean is master glass artist and rides very cool Harley Motorcycles. Enjoy Dingle! Ellen

On our first night in Dingle we walked along the Strand from Castlewood to a pub that was a few doors down from the the Out of the Blue restaurant. There we had one of the best evenings of our Ireland trip listening to the music of a first rate entertainer.
