What can I say! This is a far nicer place to stay in my view than in all the top hotels in Ireland ! Every luxury imaginable, beautifully furnished and the hosts were so friendly and helpful. We were given a Buck’s Fizz on arrival ! The drawing room had a trolley laid out with

This was our second visit to Castlewood House, and of course, the room, the breakfast and the entire week’s experience was again impeccable. But more than that, I must extend a heartfelt message of utter gratitude to both Brian and Helen at Castlewood House in Dingle for the unl

Is there a piano at Castlewood House that people can play? Just curious!
I don’t think there was one, but I totally agree with Anne L. I’m sure they would help you find one.

I am not able to walk far. Is there taxi service for transport into town?
The hotel is about a bit of a walk to town, there are taxi services available and the hotel can arrange them for you.

Hi we are 10 adults and 4 kids group would like to visit dingle, could we have this house during our stay please.out dates can be flexible if you are booked during these dates. My no is 0894252676 Thanks
Best to email Helen and Brian asap to discuss dates, I think Castlewood has 14 rooms some with double beds. There is free car parking in front and hotel is conveniently located 10 minute walk into town. Elevator in house but there are a few steps up to front door and inside foyer. Dingle is a fun town for children and they are allowed in pubs to hear music. Murphy's ice Cream, Dingle Aquarium, pottery workshop, fishing in bay - see Fungi the wild dolphin, historic and tour attractions out west on Slea Head Drive, beautiful beaches for picnic lunch. Dingle Crystal workshop is awesome, owner Sean is master glass artist and rides very cool Harley Motorcycles. Enjoy Dingle! Ellen

Hi! Are you close to pubs and restaurants that you can walk?
On our first night in Dingle we walked along the Strand from Castlewood to a pub that was a few doors down from the the Out of the Blue restaurant. There we had one of the best evenings of our Ireland trip listening to the music of a first rate entertainer.
