I chose this place because it was unique and away from the town. It turned out to be the most wonderfully creative oasis I could have found. Carmel was a joy and fed us a wonderful breakfast. Her husband is the creative genius who built the house, walls, most of the furniture, and all the fun sculptures in the garden....

Very unique style house with beautiful gardens and personal touches throughout. Small jaunt, about 3 km, from town which is a nice walk after sitting all day, but since the road is so narrow I would probably recommend driving into town for dinner. We were unable to stay for breakfast as we had to get an early start to Dingle....

lissyclearig thatched cottage is prob the coolest place we stayed during our short week in Ireland. From the moment we turned for the driveway we smiled as the flowers were blooming at us. WOW! Its beautiful we thought! Thank you so much Carmel & Davey for a wonderful stay. Everything in this house is handcrafted. The beds, chairs, mirrors on...

One of the handful of thatched cottages in Ireland and was a cute place it is. Our room was clean and very nice. Breakfast was outstanding. Good home cooking style. Best place to start your Ring of Kerry trip. Remember, go counter clockwise to avoid having the tour buses coming right at you. For Dingle peninsula go clockwise. I will...

We had a wonderful stay at the Lissyclearig Thatched Cottage. Cute cottage that the owner built himself. Beautiful wood throughout. Lovely yard. Plenty of parking. Good breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Very friendly and helpful with advice. The only downside was the WIFI was poor. Very difficult to get it in our rooms.

What a beautiful place to stay. Owners were so friendly and helpful with travel tips for the Ring of Kerry. The work they have put into this place was so evident. It was so quaint and charming and the breakfast was amazing. One of the best we've ever been served.

A very cute and homey B & B. This is definitely a "lived-in" place (the owners put a lot of time and personal touches into things). Our room was comfortable, though the bed was a tad firm (not an issue for us, but some may not like it). Breakfast was delicious! As others mentioned, this B & B did not...

This is a beautiful place, and obviously created and taken care of with love! Comfy bed, delicious breakfast, short drive into town and amazing flowers all around! Carmel has lots of books and maps to help with your sightseeing! Highly recommended!

We stayed here at the start of October for one night while we went to a wedding. I had contacted Carmel before hand and ask how far was the venue away from Lissyclearig Thatched cottage. She told me don't worry as that she could drop us there to collect out car in the morning or drop us that day to...

Cozy and different, but modern and up to date as well. Carmel's daughter served us refreshments after our long day of touring. Room was comfortable although not large. Breakfast was very good, indeed. Parking is good and convenient to town without being crowded or noisy.
