What an amazing place. We stayed for 2 nights and I couldn't fault one thing during our stay. From our arrival, complimentary teas/coffees cake & biscuits. Dinner on both nights was fantastic. The hospitality was 5 star. Such a warm welcome by Frank who took the time out to talk to everyone and ensure they were OK and calling you...

My second time visiting with a large party and the food was once again exceptional. Great variety on offer and service is second to none. Had rabbit to start and halibut for mains. Good size portions but of the highest quality.

We stayed two nights at this charming country inn while hiking in Kerry. The owners Frank and Ann are lovely and were gracious hosts as we're all of the staff. The restaurant is award winning and well deserving of the honor. Definitely not a place to miss!

Just spent a fantastic weekend at Carrig House with the wonderful hosts Frank and Mary. Our bedroom was gorgeous with a spectacular view over the lake to the mountains in the background. Food was excellent and the staff were friendly and most efficient. All in all a 10/10 experience. We will be back.

Another Blue Book diamond! We spent two nights here with our 5 month old. Absolutely amazing food and luxurious accommodation. Sitting back over afternoon tea whilst enjoying the fantastic views over Caragh lake. So relaxing! Loved the walks up around Caragh lake. Thanks very much Frank & Mary Slattery (plus daughter Claire) for making our stay so enjoyable. Can't wait...

Visited Carrig House for the first time this week with friends. As a Kerry native living in nearby county Cork, it's been on my bucket list for quite some time, so I was thrilled to finally have visited this week. The house is so beautiful, full of old world charm, so well maintained, with history and character in every inch...

Carrig House is a beautiful old house on Caragh Lake near Killorglin. It has several relaxing, comfortable drawing rooms to relax in. Open fires are lit and candles burn! We were welcomed with a cup of tea and some homemade fruitcake and biscuits. The restaurant food is excellent. The gardens are lovely and there are several routes down to the...

Wanted somewhere to stay for a few days with my mother that had some style and class and proper old school service. Boy oh boy has this place lived up and exceeded what I wanted. From the warm welcome of tea with homemade biscuits and fruit cake to the simple politeness of remembering our names to say hello to us...

This place is really special. We stayed here for the last two nights of a bike tour. We asked our travel agent to upgrade us to a junior suite to celebrate a wedding anniversary and when we arrived, they upgraded us to Room #1, their "Presidential Suite." Well, I didn't realize that country houses had presidential suites but this one...
