Surroundings and ambience was very good. ...... but the Pool was not maintained as expected , could see monkeys running around the pool....breakfast and snack was good but dinner buffet was not upto mark....staff service was good
Wondeful experience at the hotel . The Brook was an icing on the top. The kids enjoyed a lot . The food was also good . They could add more variety in their menu. Also they should have a bar as well. overwall pretty impressive
This property is wonderful, all amenities were excellent the rooms the garden the food all were top notch, everything was clean and good, the staff all were very friendly, this is a very good property in Wayanad . While going up it is best to park your vehicle in the allotted place on the main road and take the transportation provided by the hotel, for small cars it can be very difficult . But a must stay property as always Abad group has done a very good job
22 of us ladies finally made it to Wyanad after the pandemic had forced us to cancel plans The Abad Brookside is beautifully located amidst the thick tropical forests. The views from our rooms were simply awesome. We even had a Malabar squirrel peep in to wish us good morning. The food was good and hospitality of the friendly staff was pleasant. Weather was awesome. We didn't need the Aircon at all. We were close to nature and not polluting the pristine environment with greenhouse gas emmissions Only disappointing part was the swimming pool. A tad too small and no discipline with swim wear. The management should look into this. Overall we had a great time.
A group of lady friends travelled from Bangalore to a relaxing getaway at Abad Brookside Wayanad. The road to the property is narrow which maens the two jeeps from the resort had to pick up all of us and carry our lugguage. Took a while. Shreejit on the front desk was very efficient and helpful, the property is compact and rooms well spaced although no AC which means during summer the rooms will be hot. The housekeeping was good too. What was disappointing was that the place was often noisy with families and children in the pool with shorts, T shirts and even salwar kameez. No dress code here meant, hygiene of the pool was compromised and we had to stay away from the pool. No massage facilities or spa either and with the property being a small one, we were forced to go out to fill our mornings and evening. What was also average was the dining service and kitchen. Limited dishes on the buffet and service had just 2 staff which meant even water and paper napkins on the table was not kept.…
First, let me say sincere thanks to the staff. Most of them(except the guy at the front desk, who handles billing) were nice and helpful, especially the folks at the restaurant. Breakfast buffet was good. That’s where all the good things stop. About the not so good things. We were at the rooms 401, 402 and 404. Unfortunately, we were given rooms that were close to the sewer treatment plant. To our bad luck, the plant had issues the day we stayed. The odor from the plant was so bad that we couldn’t even get out of the rooms or move around the property. So at all cost, avoid those rooms. Now about some health concerns. Room 401 had mold on the ceiling, which is a serious health concern. (Pictures added). My recommendation: don’t fall into the trap of resort management paying YouTubers and vloggers to write flashing reviews. Read reviews, ask around and then make a decision. I would say that, the Rs. 21000.00 we paid for a single night stay for 6 adults and 4 kids was not worth it. I wouldn’t be coming back here. PS: I was also contacted by the management to remove this review. They tried to offer many types of compensation, but I didn't budge. That wouldn't be fair to the thousands of people wanting to learn the truth. The guy at the front desk never even offered an apology or offered any sort of compensation for our inconvenience, instead he just looked at his computer.…
We had a two days stay at the resort. A brook is located inside the resort and that is the highlight of it..Good climate..Good food and good people around..What else u need to enjoy the location..Resort Manager Abilash needs special appreciation for running around the guest and asking for their comfort ..It's not a pet friendly resort..It has many monkeys inside...But it will not trouble you if you don't fees them..So keep food away from monkeys ...The presence of monkeys is due to its nearness to forest. We had a very peaceful stay in the serene beauty of the resort
I could given 4 rating if I have not met the manager of resort, first he has to learn how to treat the guests. We are new to the property and we don’t know where to go and where not to go! Please keep a sign board all the place where the guest are not permitted. So that we will not get Insulted by the manager of the resort. The food is average and we have ordered a biriyani which was below average and the chicken was overcooked. Which they will charge you Rs. 300++, I will not recommend this property personally.
A serene place soooo close to nature. A beautiful stream runs through the property, listening to the sound of flowing water at night when it's calm and quiet is such a mesmerizing feeling.... Staff was very friendly, food and accommodation was good. We loved the place. Would love to visit this place again. But road was horrible for almost 2km.. we were not expecting such a bad road.. But destination was worth the bad ride.... It ll b much better if the road was in good condition....
the property is inside the forest, had to travel about 2 km off-road provided by the Thar from Abad. it was fun . The atmosphere when we reach here is a different level. You can blend with nature in this resort. Its Highly recommended for families and couples.
