We can't thank Angela and Peter enough for the excellent hospitality we received on a recent visit. The location was/is perfect for our cycling break to the Elan Valley and also along the Rheidol Trail to Aberystwyth. An amazing breakfast was waiting after a perfect nights rest in a superbly clean and comfortable room which set us up for a...

Howard, thank you for the review, we are glad that you enjoyed your visit and that we were able to accommodate you for the extra night. I greatly enjoyed my weekend in Maesglas Uchaf. One would be hard put to find a more peaceful location set in such a beautiful landscape. Ideal for walking, enjoying the scenery and watching the red kites wheeling overhead and a just short drive from the splendid Vale of Rheidol Railway.

A great little B&B, Angela and Peter are perfect hosts, attentive but not obtrusive. The bedrooms are large, with a choice of beds and two chairs. Teas and a really good coffee were provided in the room and real milk in a fridge outside the room. Our separate bathroom was huge and a very comprehensive list of good quality toiletries...

Myself and OH recently stayed at Maesglas Uchaf – WHAT a find! It was a last minute decision to have a couple of days away so having trawled the web for accommodation and with it being the height of the holiday season, availability was low and prices were ridiculously high! Only a few weeks ago I requested a couple of...

Lee and OH (Christine), what a fantastic review! Lost for words! I really don't know how to respond, you seem to have covered everything. OK, lets try: comfortable beds, good food, peace and quiet and a free bird display. We are glad that you enjoyed your visit, tell all your friends and come back soon. Peter and Angela.
